You *can* fly, with a Dragon mount they give you for free.
That Dragon keeps the expansion content thematic and gives you even more reason to engage with the systems built around it.

And your old collection is still usable everywhere else.

Yes, there is accessibility options. They outright stated that this was one of their first concerns. They won't let you skip the minigame, though.

I remember really enjoying Legion's approach. We had things like the stormheim hookshot to traverse gaps and get up higher combined with the emerald winds toy to essentially "flap" the glider kit to get to most areas even before flying.

That is true. I remember that as well. I thought it was pretty fun TBH, so I'm hoping this is just a better and more engaging version of the same style of pre-nerf gliding content that we had in Legion.

I don't think it implies that. It's more likely that they haven't set it yet, so they're only giving definite answers for the initial release.

I personally don't mind much, because I play this game primarily for Mythic Raiding and little else. Flying is not a thing there anyway.

Other than that, I find excessive dooming about something we seen like whole 5 seconds of footage for to be hilarious.

The mission statement for that feature is pretty clear and in the end one way or another it will allow fast airborne travel over the zone. Whether it will take 3 weeks or 5 months to fully unlock max speed and altitude is of little concern to me.

2- even if its not, that is atleast something that will be AVAILABLE in the system, while everyone is saying "its just a customizable glider" this is not that, this is WAAAY more then that, even if this is not available day 1, it is still available.
