    Hello everyone! Here are the notes for this week’s PTR update:

    Achievements

    • All Covenant Sanctum feature achievements are now visible and count towards your character’s total achievement points, regardless of which covenant your character currently belongs to. Nonetheless, all characters must belong to a Covenant to earn that Covenant’s specific achievements.

    Items and Rewards

    • Reward boxes from Callings now contain twice as many Grateful Offerings, still scaling with your covenant sanctum’s Anima Conductor level.
    • The Zereth Mortis weekly quest “Patterns Within Patterns” now awards Grateful Offerings.

    • Star Slam 2 Become a starcatcher! Use again to Knockback nearby starcatchers. Instant. 3 sec cooldown.
    • Summon Elemental Familiar Summons a random Fire, Water, or Earth familiar. Familiars of different types have a tendency to fight each other Unlimited range. 2 sec cast. 5 min cooldown.
    • Throw Fling a star to a starcatcher Become a star flinger! Use again to fling a star to starcatchers! 20-60 yd range. Instant. 3 sec cooldown.
    • Toxicialic Inflict up to 6% max health damage to up to 5 enemies within 40 yards every 5 sec. Elite enemies suffer reduced damage. This effect will last for 15 min. Only works in Shadowlands outdoor areas or Oribos. 3 sec cast.

When defeated each mote splits into additional motes.     I assume Jigglesworth Sr is the Gooey Slimesaber, which if it is begs the question 'Will this be a time-limited thing?' The Season 4 wording from the achievement throws me off, but it's still listed in the normal raid section and not as an FoS. I do hope it isn't considering the Ancient and Tome are here to stay.

    Also, I wonder what the Deathwalker for season 4 looks like?! Hopefully it's not blue like that unused one, and they do something more, er, vibrant like the s3 one.

    Unless they make Grateful Offerings bind on account or -- even better -- remove the currency entirely, any other changes are meaningless.

    Grimrail Depot and Iron Docks already have dungeon Teleporter to them, granted require that you beat the Challenge mode in Warlords.
    Just me miss remembering, but isn't their a ring that let you teleport to Karazhan?

    So now I'm gonna get even more graceful offerings.

    Having a new difficulty level in the new patch is the only way for not having us doing nothing.
    These days I've seen a lot of "Blizzard only designs wow for 1%, 0.01%, 5% of the playerbase", but man, there are many people who raid, what's the bad part about having something else to do with that content and having a bit of variety?

    By the time the new season arrives most people who raid (who I'm sure don't represent 1% of the playerbase but more) will have finished heroic raiding, with a more or less high ilvl, and will have to play until the new expansion comes. For the M+, I'm also sure that there will be a ton of people doing more than +15, so reaching +20 before the expansion is not something impossible. Still, if some content level is too much for you, you DON'T have to do it, so what's the bad part of letting people who like difficulty have fun? If you like simple things you have normal, or even heroic when you are overgeared, so you can just keep doing that.

    If they can increase a bit the difficulty and give some variety while at the same time having progression with your items' levels, isn't it a good thing?
    It's "recycled content" technically, but still better than nothing and I prefer that they focus on the new expansion so we have a good one.

    How about you progress further into the existing "harder" content before you complain about more difficult stuff being added?
    They added a further goal for those who want more out of this game, and your first instinct was to complain that the goal that you already weren't reaching got moved further back. Maybe stick to Pet Battles and Transmog competitions.

    OP made ZERO mention of portals in the post I quoted. So yeah, no, it’s not obvious that they were referring to that. I assumed they were referring to the raids, which is a fair assumption since that’s what the post is generally about
