It's true, this could have been a huge piece of positive PR for Elmo. A feel good story that people could use to prop him up as more morally just as a person. Instead he's trying to bury one of his fans in litigation. It's just an all around asshole move. Musk APPROACHED the kid, asked him to take the account down. When the kid said no, Elmo offered him $5k. The kid counter offered that he'd take it down for a Tesla or an internship. Both of which would have been relatively PENNIES for Elmo. Instead he's trying to bury the kid in litigation. That should be all you need to know about the kind of person Elmo is, and why it's not worth defending him even if you think this doxxing was dangerous.

Also hilarious that the Elmo fans are claiming it was "extortion". What a bunch of fucking clowns.

personally i think all of these 'twitter files' have been really boring. Tabbi and bari allegely have full access to twitter, they could be showing the internal communications for things like what twitter people were talking about backstage during the arab spring, or during the BLM protests or things like that instead they are doing stories like 'this is how the twitter filter didnt let charlie kirk in the trending topics bit'. Its like wow who cares.

compared to those facebook papers where they journo had access and was like 'this is how facebook helped cause the genocide in myanmar and what they were saying about it internally'

Tesla could be cut in half, then half again and still be overvalued.

What'll be interesting to see is if Muskrat needs to sell a ton of Tesla stock, how far it'll push it down. The more he sells, the more he'll need to sell to attain the same amount of cash conversion, and at some point it becomes a death spiral.

Elmo has divised a plan to get more people to buy blue. What is it? Any mutes/blocks from a blue check account will count as a downvote against those muted or blocked. Taylor Lorenz suspended from Twitter, claims Elon Musk personally removed her from platform

Lorenz claimed in a Substack post that Twitter CEO Elon Musk was directly involved in the suspension. She also attested that she did not and has not violated Twitter’s terms of service.

"Earlier tonight, Elon Musk suspended my Twitter account," Lorenz wrote.

In the brief post, Lorenz said she only had three tweets live on her account at the time of the suspension — two of which included links to her other social media accounts, and a third was a tweet sent to Musk.

Lorenz said she and her colleague Drew Harwell, who was also banned by Musk earlier in the week, were "working on a story involving Musk and were hoping to get [a] comment from him," she wrote.

"When I went to log in and see if he had responded to our query, I was suspended," Lorenz said in the Substack post. "I received zero communication from the company on why I was suspended or what terms I violated."

"I have been on Twitter since 2010 and have run Twitter account for major media brands including Verizon, Wordpress, The Daily Mail, People magazine, The Hill, and dozens more," she added. "Never once in my 13-year career in social media have I received a single terms of service or community guidelines violation, for my personal account or any account that I’ve run."

I believe this reporter she she says she has only sent three tweets, and did not receive any communication. Now, as that article is FOX News, they did go on to paint a negative picture of this reporter as much as possible. So I suppose you could make a point that people could be banned from Twitter for things they did off Twitter, and sure, why not.

But:
1) The stuff FOX News mentioned specifically was years ago. Why she wasn't banned until she asked Musk a question doesn't fit that evidence.
2) It still means Musk unbanned insurrectionist Trump and banned Lorenz, saying that her actions were worse than Trump's.
2a) I could probably name a great number of other people who aren't banned from Musk's Twitter who did things worse than ask people questions.
3) She has criticized the "Twitter files" and banning her for that is also very un-"free speech".
4) And I don't see much, if anything, about her and Musk's personal jet. So it wasn't like she was caught up in a banstorm and they just forgot to put her back.

So based on the existing evidence, I believe the journalist. I believe Musk personally banned her for asking him a question.
