As far as i know, this is more of analysis done in hindsight as Lana Wachoswki literally about this "Art isn't static" and generally alludes to people questioning many things, from their sense of self to sense of reality and so forth.
Nevermind that it's not exactly new to take a symbol from one might oppose if you break it down to the Minute detail, but still use it for a completely different purpose.
Whether it's a symbol, word or anything else.
It's also not exactly new that the Right in particular are fairly pragmatic about it when it comes to this, if it serves their goals, it's good enough.
Andre Tate has been open about how his business model worked so its not a surprise he was arrested for human trafficking. I just think its incredibly funny that ppl who go on insane rants about pizza basements amd whatnot are defending the guy.
Also apparently he was selling courses to "escape the matrix". Lol these ppl are a cult
My immediate reaction is:
Only a complete sap without any critical thought and analysis would think that statement is remotely believable just based on a cool image and a quote-meme.
And anyone applying critical thought would at least investigate the quote and image and see that their memory is being manipulate. The line 'What if I told you' isn't actually said in the Matrix movie, but the closest thing is said by Morpheus is dark shades to a glass-less Neo.
The far-right movement has been built on memes. It's an effective propaganda method because it's short and unidirectional, so they often make an argument that is full of holes but it's difficult to engage with in a serious rational conversation. And if anyone does engage them in a rational discussion with critical thought they get demolished pretty quickly, so they resort to accusing their opponents of being woke, SJW, limiting their free speech/religion, etc. Which still doesn't address that they are in the wrong, but it deflects long enough for their supporters to not pay attention to it and move on to something else, which goes back to the use of memes that appeal to short attention spans.
Ironically, these memes mainly work for them because the people they are written for usually aren't using critical thought. Maybe this is trying to get ahead of people beginning to realize that.

The most woke take but, everyone is, to some degree, a sheep. We all get our information from somewhere else. We learn about new things as we grow. Some of those things are fact, and some of those things aren't. Some we'll believe, and some we won't. There is not a single person on this earth who lives in complete independent thought. Everyone is a sheep. Some just follow shepherds who tell them that they're not sheep but wolves. Those are the dangerous ones with an agenda. So many people are so busy worrying about 1984 and Huxley that they've not even stopped to consider that the person who has taught them "free thinking" is just another grifter and con man.
The Matrix is a very human story as I'm sure at some point, someone has experienced a moment when one of their core beliefs was revealed to be a lie all along. So just about anyone can relate to it. The fact that the right has co-opted it as their way of saying normal polite society is all a scam to push a woke agenda is just sad.
Andrew Tate "predicted" that he would be arrested. He framed it in such a way that "the Matrix" would try to silence him for "speaking the truth". And at this point basically everyone has seen the matrix, so Tate has entrenched himself as Neo in the minds of many, which is sad. But the reality is that Tate himself on his very own website and in interviews has stated his business model - finding women to "date", sleeping with them to see if they're quality or not, and then forcing them to do sex work against their will because they're just so in love with him. He's literally admitted to human trafficking. Of course the authorities are going to come for him. But he's convinced so many people that what he's doing is normal that the numerous fans believe him in the right. It's an incredibly sad state of affairs.

Damn the matrix was so ahead of it's time. Literally predicting EVERYTHING that has occured!! /s
Seriously though, it was just a film. I think the whole matrix speak is just about making you think about whats going on around you, theres nothing else beyond that. You either go with the groupthink or think critically.
On some level, you're always involved in group think. The people who make you believe you're thinking critically will just give you selective facts, bring you right up to the conclusion but not tell you directly what they want you to think but let you figure it out yourself, making you believe you thought critically. Unless your opinion doesn't involve something written or said by another human, it's some kind of groupthink.
The sooner people realize that, the sooner they'll just accept that at some level they're part of a group think, and being able to do that means you can look at yourself from the outside and analyze if you think it's worth it or not.

My guy you are just saying the exact same shit that all the other crypto-slinging, supplement-buying, musk-simping manosphere rightoids are saying. There's nothing unique or original about your perspective, you are not "outside the box," you're just putting yourself in a different box. Doesn't make it not an echo chamber.
The organization of the coup was openly planned on social media including twitter with dates, locations, times, names. Now if you want to have an intelligent conversation of why it wasn't prevented, you can @ me in the appropriate thread and we can speculate there on why they didn't do their job. However If you really are truely clueless on how crime is prevented, I don't think it's something you will learn on this site from me or anyone.
Lets hope they dont burn their pizzas half as much.
