There's no "fighting against MSM" and "turning Twitter into citizen journalism" like watching the super bowl with your best pal Rupert Murdoch.

"DoN't TrUsT tHe MeDiA, cOmMiT cItIzEn JoUrNaLiSm!"

Oh hey it's Murdoch and Elom bumping elbows. Who could have foreseen this?
2014 Gamergate: "If you want games without hyper sexualized female characters and representation, then learn to code!"
2023: "What's with all these massively successful games with ugly (realistic) women? How could this have happened?!"

I'll try my best to read through your posts for content that doesn't consist of repeating your prior arguments. If you really think this is as basic as holding two opinions on flat-earth, then maybe I overestimated you.

    I'm happy to be persuaded
Let me add a little specificity to aid you. My arguments on this particular subject are apparently as unpersuasive to you as your arguments are to me. This is not a character judgement. We may have more fruitful arguments in other subjects at other times.

That's fine, maybe you'll be persuaded by your own source on at least one of these topics - https://twitter.com/mtaibbi/status/1598833927405215744

    22. Although several sources recalled hearing about a “general” warning from federal law enforcement that summer about possible foreign hacks, there’s no evidence - that I've seen - of any government involvement in the laptop story. In fact, that might have been the problem...
Though maybe he'll be as unpersuasive in me when he's not "reporting" something that aligns with your worldview.

Elon has become terminally online and incapable of thinking or speaking outside of meme-text formats, apparently.

Don't hang out with Rupert Murdoch, y'all. It gives you literal brainworms.

Elom's out there saving us from WWIII because it's totes Ukraine gonna start WWIII!

Why does it always seem to be the same handful of right wing and crypto losers at the top of his Twitter responses all the time? Fuckin omega cringe shit, rofl.

The conversation always seems to be 'The west needs to stop provoking poor russia :,(' and never 'Maybe Russia should get the fuck out of Ukraine'. But that's a rant for the other thread; Elon's just continuing to be a contrarian dipshit.

Elom has repeatedly been called out for being an idiot stooge repeating Putin's propaganda over the years and having literally zero idea of what's actually going on in the region.

Now he's doing the galaxy brain "lawl you believe the media!" BS as if that appeals to literally anyone beyond the "FAKE NEWS" or "I am actually Very Smart(TM)" crowds.

Yep. I've never seen the right so... anti war ever. But it's obvious why. Republicans get a lot of Saudi and Russian money so they're very openly anti war with Russia, because it advances Russian interests.

Wild that the right loved to preach about national sovereignty and borders meaning something, then want to just hand Ukraine to Russia after crying about national sovereignty for all of the 2010's. Twitter is fucking full of these right wing crypto bros complaining about not wanting to start WW3. And we know why. The right is notoriously pro military and pro hegemony for all of history. But suddenly they're against it? Yeah, it's Russian money.

To be fair they took a very sudden and dramatic anti-war stance when they started trying to pawn all of GW's Middle East failures onto Obama. Just this suddenly contrarian anti-war sentiment was very easy to mold and shape into radical isolationism by certain parties who'd benefit from a US divorced from global affairs (Which in this case is, yeah, Russia).

Yep, someone has convinced US conservatives that rather than pro hegemony, we need to be pro isolation. Man, I wonder what country benefits from the US going isolationist? Listen, I hate that the US has a hegemony on the world as much as the next person, but I'm not stupid either. I know that in a vacuum of power where the US does not interfere, Russia will start invading anyone they can. I don't want a world ruled by cruel Russian ideals and values.

Fun fact: in the original video that lady in red is talking quite calmly. This was literally the same as stopping a movie as someone makes a funny face as they speak.

I hate to tell you this but I don’t think Russia has the resources to do this even if everything from this moment going forward went perfectly their way.

    To be blunt; they’re fucked.

China is much more likely to capitalize on the situation, and in all likelihood it will be economically - not militarily, outside of I dunno, they’ve got that thing with Taiwan? And even then. China has always behaved in a way consistent with ‘if money can solve it, well throw money at it’.

The EU's economy is roughly ten times the size of Russia's. Doesn't it seem at least slightly odd to you that anything short of American intervention outside of NATO boundaries would result in a vacuum of power? Some might suggest that EU nations are shirking their security responsibilities if they are disinclined to defend themselves against the cruel Russians.

They're having trouble with nation right next to them in a ground war.

The only reason why anyone would fear Russia is because they hold nukes and you might get a crazy Russian crazy enough to launch.
Just don't reply to me. Please. If you can help it.

right wing memes are truly some of the worst memes around there, which is little surprise and continues to support my theory that conservatives nowadays largely are incapable of intentional humor. Only accidental.

Are you accusing right wing loons of being dishonest? How dare you, Elon is the CEO of moral integrity... Mostly because he overpaid for it.

  19. #3379
So, any news on Elon stepping down as CEO? Dude got voted out by his own twitter poll and I haven't heard anything about it since

    No.

He lied. Everyone knew he was lying. And of course, there will be no consequences.
