And you thought "Upper-class Twit of the Year" was only a Monty Python sketch.

Also, I don't know if we covered this but Consultant in Musk litigation sues Twitter for $2.2 mln in fees

So the short version is: Elon Musk tried to back out of paying $44 billion for Twitter, Twitter took issue with that (and by "issue" I mean "they signed a contract and Musk was trying to break it") and Twitter sued. And won. Neat.

    Twitter never paid the lawyers.

So...Musk must now pay the lawyers, who forced him to pay $44 billion for the company. While this is yet another bill Musk has chosen not to pay, and no he can't keep doing that, the fact that Twitter the company hired these lawyers and now Musk must pay them is the level of irony normally associated with...well, Monty Python sketches, really.

Rofl, I can't help but feel this was purely intentional on the part of Twitter execs who were super duper over his bullshit. Good on them, this is 10/10 corporate trolling.

I would not disagree at all. The fact that the lawyers worked for Twitter and not the execs meant they could sign the contract with barely suppressed glee knowing it wouldn't be their problem either way.

Nitpick and play pedantic games all you want, but that's not an answer to the question.

Are you persuaded by your own source?

Stay on topic if you want useful answers. The laptop controversy addressed here wasn't what I cited to you in order to hear your more-informed answer to FBI/Congressional pressure on Twitter. So obviously a source referencing the laptop isn't going to be persuasive in arguments that are not-laptop.

Only wants to talk about the laptop story, claims people are going off topic when they're not. Reality is that Elom anddd Taibbi seem to be extremely selective about the communications they release and it's almost sad that anyone believes their shit is genuine. LOL

At least we thoroughly demonstrated how bunk this laptop story truly is. Keep slinging shit at the wall conservatives. Maybe you'll have better luck next time.

The Twitter files controversy is not synonymous with Hunter Biden's laptop, and I'm confused at what you hope to gain by pretending otherwise.

The laptop story is central to Republican arguments around this, which you are repeating. So excuse me if I had difficulty drawing a distinction between the Republican rhetoric and your nearly identical arguments.

I'm still curious about if you think Rep. Clay Higgins continually and repeatedly threatening these individuals with being charged and arrested and if that it intimidation or in any way him using his position as a member of the government to attempt to coerce information out of the former executives. He still has yet to say what charges these may be even when pressed by Laura Ingraham, and I'd hope that we can agree that a Representative threatening private citizens who voluntarily showed up for a Congressional hearing with charges and jail time is not exactly ideal behavior.

So, rather than issue some kind of fit or reversal of his system where blocks can effectively DDOS a user out of the algorithm, Elom has...

Made the system greenlight all of his tweets, making them bypass the system of checks that the algorithm does, and always put his tweets at the top of suggestions.

"EVERYONE PLEASE LIKE ME AND LISTEN TO ME"

What's even more hilarious is that he got salty that Biden's @Potus account got more engagement than him, to the point that he went so far as to boost his engagement multiplier BY 1000 TIMES. LOL

So much for Elmo fixing potential "DDOS vectors" with the block feature suppressing tweets. Good to know I can block libsoftiktok and reduce their visibility still.

You seem to only want to talk about the Biden laptop story IN THE TWITTER/ELON THREAD. Please stay on topic. Now do you have any comments about how Musk is a special snowflake, and has conned you into believing a certain narrative? Or are you going to go off topic again?

Rofl, I wonder if they'll let you block him with Twitter Blue, someone should propose that as a perk.

    You're most certainly excused.

    Rep. Clay Higgins
Sounds like typical blowhard crap from his ilk. No criminal statute cited. So I'd lump this in with all the Russian collusion threats of arrest from members of Congress a few years ago. Attention-seeking behavior aimed at raising his national profile and gaining campaign contributions from whoever's swayed by the rhetoric. I hear he also thinks Biden's leading us into WWIII...

The Mueller report is still available for anyone to read. It's clear there was collusion. The Senate Republicans just didn't care, and voted against indictment.

But please, keep chasing that single email on Hunter's laptop that said "10 for the big guy". It's been 2.5 years and nothing has come of it, but I'm sure if Republicans keep crying on Twitter and reddit they'll eventually realize they're wasting their time.
