Ima gonna laugh when Tesla becomes so desperate for cash, it's starts selling driver data to insurance companies. Then people with $50k Maga hats see their rates go through the roof, like a Tesla Autopilot goes through a todler.

Special Report: Tesla workers shared sensitive images recorded by customer cars
    • Private camera recordings, captured by cars, were shared in chat rooms: ex-workers
    • Circulated clips included one of child being hit by car: ex-employees
    • Tesla says recordings made by vehicle cameras ‘remain anonymous’
    • One video showed submersible vehicle from James Bond film, owned by Elon Musk
LONDON/SAN FRANCISCO, April 6 (Reuters) - Tesla Inc assures its millions of electric car owners that their privacy “is and will always be enormously important to us.” The cameras it builds into vehicles to assist driving, it notes on its website, are “designed from the ground up to protect your privacy.”

Matt Taibbi: "I stand by my story."
So, Taibbi was off by four orders of magnitude.

That's like the difference between the price of a sandwich, and your annual salary.

That's like the difference between "go fuck yourself" and "every NFL linebacker who is alive and who has ever lived is lined up behind you, bend over, also they each get three turns".

His standing by seems pretty typically Trumpian: being proven wrong, and changing nothing. We've seen it today, for example.

OMG, fucking hilarious. The amount of stuttering and stammering when he gets called out for the bullshit straight to his face was hilarious.

"WELL THEY INCLUDED THE 22 MILLION NUMBER IN THEIR REPORT"

"Yes, which was for a completely different metric that was not what you reported."

"BUT IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE REPORT YOU CAN'T SAY IT'S NOT REAL!"

Tabbi being an absolute joke of a clown who can't even figure out how to put on the makeup isn't news to anyone paying attention, and I'm skeptical that after the absolute disaster of testimony he gave in front of the House committee that this dumpster fire of an interview will change anyone's minds. There seems to be a large contingent of people who believe that no matter how many times you point out the ethical breaches, the factual inaccuracies, the apparent intentional mistruths, and Taibbi's refusal to engage in good faith that they still think he's just a straight shooter and the reason people are critical of his reporting isn't because it's factually inaccurate tripe, it's because "they're scared of the truth" or something.

    Twitter blocks Substack.

    "For what?"

Nobody knows. It's baffling. People trying to reply to them get “some actions on this Tweet have been disabled by Twitter.”

When TheHill reached out to Twitter for comment, they got a poop emoji response. No, really, they're still doing that.

    "Maybe it's an accident."

    No, the poop emoji th--

"No, maybe the error message is because of an accident."

So, Twitter is incompetent? Neat. That's a great selling point for the $8/month subscription fee.

Wait...isn't that where Matt Taibbi's newsletter is?

    taibbi.substack.com

Oh, apparently not. IT just redirects to what looks like a hilariously low-effort blog called Racket.

But I guess Matt's having a cry over getting pwned on MSNBC the other night still because he can't let it go that anyone pointed out that he's a dishonest fuck.

Truly, we just don't see the genius plays by Elom here.

    Didn't last long.

Matt Taibbi emails subscribers to his Substack saying he will no longer be using Twitter because of the platform's restrictions on engaging with Substack links

Idk if its Taibbi getting his ass handed to him cause of his failure and exposure by Medi Hasan or perhaps Twitter is not a free place for ideas.

lol musk riling up the substack freaks is the best thing hes done. Always remember that opinion writers get the wall first.

rofl, how could daddy elom do that to his baby boy?

    does this mean no more twitter files? : ( : ( : ( : (

  11. #3671
    Oh this got spicy.

Saw this throughout Twitter. I'm not 100% sure if true. Just fyi.

So Taibbi getting slapped around on MSNBC had a fit and knew he was Elmo's bitch. So he had to have this fit on Twitter about substack and say he is quitting Twitter. Now, idk timeline here if Elmo unfollowed and I bet there was some DM's before or after the Substack tirade.

Twitter Changes Label On NPR Account From ‘State-Affiliated’ To ‘Government Funded’

"How much of NPR's funding comes from the government?"

About 2%. It used to be 1%, but then they started offering tote bags.

I have a bunch of those. Great for shopping. Their cold bag is awesome. Yes. NPR suckered me into donating.

So I guess I gotta find which NPR show was mildly critical of him that caused him to suddenly fixate on them?

Or do we already know this?

matt tabbi getting shadowbanned is funny

The 2nd "twitter files" journalist to fall from the emperor's grace?
Lol. It takes so little to get dumped by the big boss.
Good thing they didn't sacrifice their integrity for this /s

I'm pretty sure with the support they get that Tesla are more government funded than that. Is he going to change their label?

That funding isn't even to NPR, it's to a handful of member stations. I'm guessing if looked into, there are lots of other stations getting money for the same grant program.
"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.

The BBC also got saddled with the government funded label.

At this point, as a journalist organisation, why even be in twitter. Heck that goes for everyone.
