Given how spectacularly the value of Twitter has cratered since Elon bought it, even someone as colossally stupid and incompetent as he is will be able to figure that out eventually.

I think that's just giving him too much credit. People tried to spin that "4D-chess" narrative with Trump...and it turned out he was just a malicious incompetent shithead. The point is not to "push boundaries". The point is that some boundaries are unjust and infringe on people's basic humanity, and must thus be torn down. The point is not to "trangress", or "make conservatives mad"; left-wing people generally could not give less of a single shit what conservatives want. The point is to end injustices. The conservatives are the ones defending those injustices, so they get mad when they can't keep inflicting unjust harm on innocents. That's not the goal, it's just an inevitable secondary effect, that those focused on enforcing artificial social injustices will get upset when those injustices are attacked and dismantled.

Those things aren't "radical" nor "extreme". That's just bullshit conservative propaganda trying to argue that minority group's existence is somehow a threat to social order. That trans people existing and living freely and openly is a thing that needs to be stopped.

Honestly if someone's so brittle about me reading their Twitter posts (not even reacting! just reading!) that they have a negative emotional reaction, it really begs the question of why they have internet access in the first place. They're probably mentally unstable and should seriously reconsider engaging in the behaviour.

You're ignoring most people blocking someone isn't cause they are saying something that threatens some "status quo" idea, it's cause they are verbally attacking someone often because that person is threatening some status quo. And then they keep watching their posts to make alts to keep attacking after being blocked. So if that person has to spend extra time to even see a post, I'm not feeling anything for them.
