"American Tradition" isn't exactly the gold standard. "Pride in the country and what it stood for" includes slavery. Are you proud of slavery?

That explains a lot, overseas sources is also very vague I get my news in 2 other languages but they are mostly official channels. I highly doubt you are getting your news from any reliable source since you think young people are rioting and looting in the US.

I will tell you this, last year, before I gave up American news, I was watching CBS News. That was like, my main source at the time for years. I don’t even seek them out tho now if I’m looking for a certain event to read about.

Well, a sizable amount of people uses the notion of "traditions" to justify being discriminatory towards other groups of people. There are traditions in many religious groups that justify discrimination against LBGTQ people. Just because it is a tradition doesn't mean it is valid or even good. It used to be traditional to use bloodletting to help try and cure disease.

Someone born out of the US and returned at 2 months of age and was granted citizenship and lived in the US the rest of their life is ineligible to run for president.
Someone born in the US and left at 2 months of age who just returned at age 60 is eligible to run for president.
