Well, that depends... on whether or not Lone Skum fired everyone with access to the domain registrar and renewal time is coming up.

That's probably not it, and would require an incredibly stupid setup in the first place, a Herculean effort to fire everyone involved within the company, and irretrievably alienating the registrar as a business... but those all seem to be within Musk's capabilities.

I don't know how to put this to you but Elon doesn't run his companies directly when he does everything goes to shit. He is an investor who likes to micro manage at times, we've all had that annoying boss that we just want out of the way. He has a long history of overpromising and under delivery the cyber truck was supposed to be on the market years ago.

Nah set up a simple redirect from the original domain, I would frankly be impressed by the level of stupidity if they fuck this up. I did this for a website years ago without issues, nowadays there are so many tools that allow you to do this without much in terms of coding.
