    Dude is going unhinged.

Elon Musk says the Community Note about Twitter removing the block feature is wrong and it was voted away

    They then fact-checked him again

    Images in Link.

First as many have seen Elon said Blocked going away. He was checked by Community Notes that its a rule of App Stores. Elon then says the note was incorrect and the "community" voted it away. The Community Notes checked him again by saying its still up.

Now the part about this Community Notes which was always bs was 1) The community moderators are Musk fans so they could vote to turn it down. 2) Like many things Musk can make it up that it was voted out. He has carte blanche on this site, making rules up as he goes.

So then there is this post? He thinks he is owning people who bitch about being blocked by blocking them. This dude has problems.

So a glitch/bug/whatever apparently broke all images uploaded to Twitter from December 2014 and before.

They still "exist" in Twitter's database apparently, but they will not actually display. This includes that one photo from the Oscars with Ellen and a bunch of other celebs taht ended up being the most tweeted photo ever or something.

The speed with which Twitter is falling apart is truly impressive. We're not even a full year under Elom's leadership and we're seeing all the innovative ways he's pioneering to make a platform/service he overspent $44B on even worse.

Comments are pretty funny in that a lot of the Elom simps who think that senpai will notice them have been deleting their attempts at some sick burns.

SpaceX’s chief executive officer Elon Musk told Pentagon officials that he had spoken personally to Russian president Vladimir Putin about the satellite-based internet SpaceX supplies to Ukraine’s military, the New Yorker reported. Elon Musk told Colin Kahl, then the Pentagon’s top policy official, during an October conversation about Ukrainian forces losing connection to Space Exploration Technologies Corp.’s Starlink service as they entered territory contested by Russia, the report claimed.

    ...

In October, Elon Musk denied that he had spoken to Vladimir Putin. In a post on Twitter, the social media platform since renamed X, the billionaire wrote that he’d spoken to the Russian president only once, roughly 18 months earlier, about space.
Not exactly Twitter related, but I'm sure this kind of thing continues to instill confidence in advertisers who are continuing to flee the platform as they find their ads running in the feeds of literal Nazis that got unbanned by Elom.

Yes, but even he understands how terrible of an idea removing the block feature is.

    100% yes.

Which is hilarious because Elom's getting out-extremed by the extremists he's been playing to for a while. Suddenly a lot of his simps are turning on him because he dared block people and that's now very cash money of him given his Freeze Peach Absolute Vodka position.

Billionaire Elon Musk, the owner of X, a social media platform formerly known as Twitter, announced plans to remove headlines and other text from posts that display a news article’s lead image.

Now this one irks me then maybe most since I use Twitter almost as a news source. Best part of Twitter was this feature for anyone looking at source or article.

So this link would be an example in which it would just have a picture/thumbnail but no Title article or blurb.

I think it's dumb but as usual I read it may speed up the site, basically less to load. Idk.

The bad is you can put a pic from a credible source and person makes up a false story.

I wonder if this was another ketamine fueled decision?

Also, wasn't he stepping down as CEO and didn't he appoint some lady to be CEO so that he'd stop making terrible, impulsive decisions like this?

Nah. He "stepped down as CEO" and appointed Linda Yaccarino as a figurehead CEO in an attempt to fool advertisers and investors into thinking he would stop wrecking the brand, and to have a scapegoat when it finally implodes. (I guess she figures $5 million for a year or three is fair payment for her soul. I'd say 'reputation' instead of 'soul', but "I kept up the facade while a man-baby having a Nazi-themed midlife-crisis burned it all to the ground" is actually a pretty decent resume in America's reality-decoupled corporate world.)
"For the present this country is headed in directions which can only carry ruin to it and will create a situation here dangerous to world peace. With few exceptions, the men who are running this Government are of a mentality that you and I cannot understand. Some of them are psychopathic cases and would ordinarily be receiving treatment somewhere. Others are exalted and in a frame of mind that knows no reason."

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I guess he liked the block feature after all!

Well just so we're clear, with this move, I never want to hear "this doesn't belong in Politics" ever again. Musk is a Trump ally, and will be treated as such.

BEYOND PARODY The same trolls who cry nonstop when they're censored on social media... are cheering for their opponents to be censored on social media
    -- DeSantis campaign

When asked for comment, Twitter responded by saying the account was accused of spamming and the incident was under review. Just kidding. They responded with a poop emoji.

It's a weird move given that he hosted the launch of DeSantis's campaign. Remember, the one where they "broke the internet" by having fewer concurrent users on the "spaces" or whatever than most games see at their launch? The one that broke so they had to do a backup one and it was still a technical disaster?

Quite possible that Elom, a loser, knows a fellow loser when he sees one and is hitching his wagon to the guy he thinks is a winner.

    Edit:

"This is a well-worn Left Liberal tactic: When you can't defeat your opponents in a debate, you hide in the basement and try to silence your opponents. If it's true that Republicans are doing this now, shame on them," she added.
Ah yes, the well known "left liberal tactic" that...right wing Trump allies used. Gotcha. Pushaw is such a vile liar, I hate her.

    Oh, lordy.

X, formerly Twitter, faces 2,200 arbitration cases and filing fees over $3 million

X, the social network formerly known as Twitter, is facing 2,200 arbitration cases that ex-employees filed after Elon Musk took over the company, slashed headcount, and made other sweeping changes there. The filing fees alone for that volume of cases could amount to $3.5 million.

The arbitration numbers were revealed in a new filing out Monday as part of a lawsuit in a Delaware district court. The case is Chris Woodfield v. Twitter, X Corp. and Elon Musk (No. 1:23-cv-780-CFC).

Woodfield, a former senior staff network engineer who had worked at Twitter’s Seattle office, alleges in his suit that Musk’s Twitter (now known as X) had promised then failed to pay his severance, and later delayed alternative dispute resolution by failing to pay the necessary fees required for him to move ahead in the JAMS arbitration system.

According to the website for JAMS, “For two-party matters, the Filing Fee is $2,000,” and “For matters based on a clause or agreement that is required as a condition of employment, the employee is only required to pay $400.”

Since JAMS decided that this basic fee applies across the board to X’s 2,200 arbitration cases, that would amount to around $3.5 million, with other fees possibly to follow.

So have we heard a breakdown from MMOC's third favorite lawyer who often is the one doing videos for MMOC's second favorite lawyer, on the topic of Twitter challenging the search warrant and all?

Because oh boy is it a doozy of how terrible their legal team, acting at Musks direction, is at carrying out his impossible demands. I like the judge thought, sounds like a rad lady.

    Trump should sue.

Yes, the video spells out that you can't sue a social media company for complying with a valid search warrant. I think Trump should sue anyhow, claiming that the warrant wasn't valid and Musk complied too quickly.

    "Why? He might succeed."

That seems pretty slim, but, Trump suing Musk would also be of great use in the upcoming election. Musk would almost certainly retaliate by kicking Trump off Twitter again.

Twitter, I mean X, I mean Right Twix, will now collect biometric data on its willing users.

Based on your consent, we may collect and use your biometric information for safety, security, and identification purposes
I have zero problem with people volunteering this. That's on them and their choices.

I am only suggesting that it's a matter of time before this becomes a mandate, based only on Musk's choices so far.

Boy, guess they're looking for some more data to sell/share with advertisers to increase the value of ads.

I see they apparently built like...recruiting functionality into the product? "X Hiring"?

I feel like nobody worth a shit is going to be putting their resume on or hiring through Twitter. Sure, we can all mock LinkedIn for becoming a joke of lunatics, power users, and people treating it like a regular social media/dating site and all, but I think companies would still prefer to deal with that over Twitter.

Yeah, the same article said something about job and education that I didn't bother to read. I look forward to seeing the people who flocked back to Twitter after their Nazi and treason strikes were removed, using Twitter to apply for a job. That should be fun to watch.
