If this is way to sell you premium, no advertisers by insulting you advertisers probably not a great step. Don't have to that deep in understanding business that most revenue is generated by advertisers. In fact 90% of its revenue according to Investopedia.

I can't believe that this guy especially his Tesla stock is really fed off he is some genius that will event the next greatest thing. Maybe through pure money and being able to buy the upcoming tech but not his forward thinking.

Someone tweeted antisemitic conspiracy theory drivel about Jews hating white people and being behind the grossly white supremacist great replacement theory, and Musk replied with "You have said the actual truth."

Suing your advertisers seems like a particularly poor idea if you want to keep those advertisers. Advertisers flee all the time, Musk must know that. I think he's trying to make dropping him less expensive than hiring lawyers to defend them, at best. I don't think it'll work. Companies as big as Apple and IBM must deal with nuisance lawsuits all the time, and this feels like one.

It's antisemitism thrown in with ALOT of white supremacy. Now they can definitely go hand in hand with the whole "Jews shall not replace us", which camp Elmo seems to be in.

Especially in that tweet posted. Elon is really fanatic about people of color migration and PoC in general. He did that stunt of going to the border just to stair at people behind metal fences, cages. His white South African runs pretty hard it seems.

I read some of that paperwork, what he's actually claiming is that Media matters purposefully constructed a feed that would have a high probability of mixing IBM ads with nazi content, and then refreshed it over and over until the 2 things collided and then took a pic and started a shit storm.

Legally, does he have a point? I dunno ... if that indeed is what MM did, could that legally cause them issues?

EDIT: Also this isn't exactly untrue. The abrahamic religions have hated each other since forever. Close friends of mine growing up, for whom were muslim, said the jews deserved their suffering. I ain't surprised that there is some shit against jews since forever.

He makes some claims in his statement about the lawsuit that could be tested in court. I'm assuming the intent is tortious interference. If the manipulation is true and X can find intent to target advertisers in discovery, he's got a chance. But those cases are very complicated.

Media matters is absolute shit and should stick to Elon liking antisemitic posts and memes.

EDIT: For no reason at all, I reviewed the original article and some others. As I posted personally earlier, Musk has already admitted there was white supremacist content on his site. Media Matters only found out whose advertising was touching that contact. It's only fraud if it's false. They could have told Apple and IBM to their faces and can admit that proudly on the stand. No lie, no fraud.

Now I supose some gutless no-balls coward pussy troll -- like Musk or Trump, not our always honest and genuine posters here of course, heavens forfend -- were to say "there was hardly any white supremacist content!" my response would be "well, what is the correct amount, because I believe it is zero". If the FDA said "we found cyanide in Elon Musk Breakfast Cereal¹" Elon Musk seems to be suing saying "it wasn't a lethal dose of cyanide I added to my breakfast cereal, I'm suing the FDA because they got mothers to stop giving the cereal I put cyanide in to their children".

Musk isn't suing Media Matters because they lied. They didn't. He's suing because he's a whiny little bitch who doesn't like his many many mistakes being aired in public. Can you imagine rooting for that guy?

To be fair, this did fare better than the previous one. Rocket science is not easy. But to also be fair, it was supposed to be a 90-minute flight, as Reuters and other sources say. It was three minutes.
