Let's talk about ad spams, bots on Twitter. I'm getting bombarded with spam and one in particular for past week plus that is every 4th or so in my timeline.

Now I generally link stuff but advise to stay away from this but will give you keywords to see if anyone else. The ads that mention Shark Tank (tv show) and Keto, a diet supplement I guess was being spammed by Blue Checkmark people. At first I blocked these accounts, but they were just bot spams so it didn't matter. Then tried the good ole "this ad is not for me". Didn't matter.

So is this Elon's new strategy? Take money from some bs ad and let them spam with bots? I stress these ALL had blue check marks so I'm assuming they are paying Twitter. Also you can't reply, their accounts are private. Is this the fact that Elmo doesn't have the staff to keep maintenance or prevent bots so there is nothing that can be done.

Whatever the case I see some people posting about this but I'm not sure if it's a small number of people or larger. Accounts I have looked at have no blue checks so leads more to believe that Elon is letting people who don't want to pay for this garbage site, get shitted on with ad spams.

Oh and not only the one I mentioned I had some others, which I won't mention, but not as bad. So my timeline, which only happens so far on my phone, not desktop is horrible.

As of today, I'm seeing a bunch of ads on Twitter that look like they're just videos of scantily clad women. No product or brand, just apparent porn.

Yep, Elon has gotten so desperate that he's allowing porn ads. I see this backfiring spectacularly. I especially find it funny considering his sycophant audience is part of the group of conservatives that are generally enraged by female sexuality. But of course they also probably watch more weird porn than any other demographic.

Doesn't help for mobile/app users, but this extension for Firefox has been making Twitter more tolerable, one blocked blue check at a time. Helps cut down on ads too, since those seem to come from check accounts sometimes.

MMO-C has also hosted malware ads multiple times. Its hardly an acceptable standard for what we should hold advertisements to.

Twitter, without warning or cause, banned a whole bunch of liberal/progressive folks and journalists. Again.

Per the idiot in charge, he's going to investigate because how can this keep happening?! Also because he wanted to cry and virtue signal that he allows all opinions on his Freeze Peach platform. Which he objectively doesn't. He doesn't allow that anywhere and has regularly fired employees over that. Hell, some of them are suing him and his company for firing them for being critical of their boss.

Really, Twitter is probably the biggest boon to the other companies he owns like SpaceX and shit. Because now all his attention is focused on shitposting and simping and being a reply guy on Twitter while Linda just collects a paycheck for being a warm body occupying a job title, and I imagine the people whose job at SpaceX and shit it was to keep him distracted are finding that they've got a lot more free time than usual.

This is Elon, the head of the company, being a reply guy to some random racist shitlord for absolutely no reason while knowing full well every one of his tweets is reported on. This is the kind of decionmaking that's lost Twitter like 70% of it's value in a bit over a year and has caused advertisers to flee. This is what's emboldened bigots and others to spew hate.

Because all Elon had to do was just not be a loser simpy replyguy, but it seems the guy is completely addicted to right wing Twitter and can't live any longer without constant shitposting and getting his balls tickled by his right wing simps there.
