That way of thinking is why you're not a billionaire.
No, seriously. Show me one single one of these pricks that isn't a narcissistic asshole that exploited everyone around them on their way up. Oh sure, when they grow older they might grow *a bit* of a conscience, but that's not how they got filthy rich in the first place.

Its the Barre Seid lesson. No one ever heard of the fucking dude. He was a billionaire who ran his company well and treated his employees decently.
And then in his 90s he gave away his $1.5B company away to conservative shitheads to make more conservative judges. And that was after donating $1B to those same shitheads over the previous 20-30 years. That's how you commit true evil.
LoL ...But but but… Elon promised!
REUTERS : TESLA SCRAPS LOW-COST CAR PLANS
- Entry-level Tesla car won’t be built, three sources tell Reuters
- Tesla to focus on self-driving taxis instead, sources said
- Strategy shift comes as Tesla faces competition from China EV makers including BYD
Remember kids, TESLA absurd valuation was based it's potential as a mass car manufacturer ... and it's gone.
Also remembering a few years ago, when Tesla went around trying to get BIG Auto to licence their "self-driving technology". Evryone rejected it, because it was bad.
Also back in the day. Elon inventor of electric cars tried to licence his EV technologies ...
Tesla has canceled the long-promised inexpensive car that investors have been counting on to drive its growth into a mass-market automaker, according to three sources familiar with the matter and company messages seen by Reuters.
The automaker will continue developing self-driving robotaxis on the same small-vehicle platform, the sources said.
The decision represents an abandonment of a longstanding goal that Tesla chief Elon Musk has often characterized as its primary mission: affordable electric cars for the masses. His first “master plan”, opens new tab for the company in 2006 called for manufacturing luxury models first, then using the profits to finance a “low cost family car.”
Tesla shares fell 4% after the Reuters report.
But atleast leeroy still has chicken twitter.
Shocking Elon's AI Twitter Gronk is shit:
https://x.com/BrettRedacted/status/1776323701148930404
As you can see Elon's shit AI is picking up memes or just false news and actually putting this in their "Trending" section. This just happened yesterday when again in trending was; "Iran attack Tel Aviv" yesterday.
Good job Elon, you brilliant man.
"Buh dah DEMS"
I'm mostly still pissed off he chose "grok" because that's a very good word that has a very good but niche meaning and it shouldn't be associated with some low-effort chatbot bullshit.
Wanna bet he also got massive government assistance in the form of tax write-offs, subsidies, and various other things because he said he was going to be making those "low cost family cars" that he has decided to get rid of? Because I think that's a sucker's bet, he definitely did. Someone in the government should be taking back every penny, every certification, every license, every whatever that they helped him get.

If you are not aware, there is an on-going talent war in the Bay Area. Microsoft poached DeepMind. Meta poached engineer from Apple car project. Meta in turn had three of its top engineers poached. It's a free-for-all right now.
Tesla is no spared. Musk is forced to give his engineers $180k bonuses to keep them from getting poached by OpenAI.

Nobody else is doing what SpaceX does, even if a few are trying really hard.
Literally the way we learned to launch almost every major new rocket was by blowing it up a bunch to figure out all the flaws and design errors. That's how you make them reliable enough to use to begin with. No amount of simulation can match real world testing, especially when you're trying to do "impossible" things like land boosters.
Mind you the credit goes to the incredibly smart and talented people he hired to run SpaceX. Elon gets to take the credit, but SpaceX has succeeded because of the people he's hired, not his day to day leadership (as we're seeing those effects with Twitter).
I honestly hope Elon's fragile ego goes into overdrive now that everyone knows he wasn't involved in the design of anything he owns. Dude tried to have this Tony Stark image and even paid to have himself in several TV shows as "the genius inventor Elon Musk". Now everyone knows he can't invent for shit and just managed to hire the right people. If he takes any active role at Tesla or SpaceX design/production it's all gonna crash and burn around him.

It's at minimum (in my opinion) five years away from normal self driving cars at their most basic level. "Self driving" taxis sound like it will end up on an airport runway sooner than getting you home. Hell, Uber/google maps still doesn't quite understand how to get to certain locations, no way Musk has figured it out.
IMO to make self driving really work every car needs to use it. Cars have communicate with each other.
