So we have an explanation why Elon got rid of the whole entire-ass Supercharger team.

Looks like since then, he sobered up a bit and realized "Oh shit, I need a network of chargers for my electric cars to sell!" and has apparently rehired part of the team, but I really hope those folks are dusting off their resumes to move somewhere else, lest they be fired again next time Elon goes on a brainrot induced firing spree.

It's an especially hilarious move to get rid of the Supercharger group, since GM and Mercedes decided to adopt Tesla's charging tech for their EVs and are reliant on them to keep building chargers.

So that same thing he did at Twitter when he realized that his blind firings included a lot of important people who actually kept things running and he rushed to rehire them?

I'm so glad the Pentagon has to ask him for permission for things in space. The fact that any companies proprietary charging solution was "accepted" and there isn't a universal standard (sup, USB Implementers Forum!) that's not solely controlled by a singular company is also very great and totally not a ticking time bomb under this fuckin drugged out lunatic.

More bad news that I'm sure Musk knew about long ago. Teslas used to have a long waiting list, at least several months to get your own Tesla. Now Tesla is having to rent out parking lots of abandoned malls to store their excess vehicles that aren't selling. What the fuck has been happening to Twitter lately?

Like the porn bots have been bad enough, but now anytime I open my feed I have to block 50 to 60% of the recommended posts because they are either literal racists, some blue checkmark guy writing an essay about why women should marry at 14, some asshole simping for a third world dictator or whatnot.

It's like the algorithm seems to completely disregard any kind of preference I have might have and just floods me with insane shit.

The only reason I haven't nuked it yet is because I keep track of the situation in Ukraine through some of the people I follow. But the actual app is otherwise totally unusable.

I logged into Twitter for the first time since Musk bought it today. Only reason I did so was because I was entering a sweepstake that required a Twitter follow.

Immediately after logging in, I see these things front and centre:

1. A post from Elon Musk's account at the very top, showing Harambe and Doge. I don't follow Musk.
2. A video showing a naked guy skydiving with his junk flapping in the wind and clearly visible.
3. A topless pic from an Onlyfans operator.
4. A bunch of people dancing, including women with very visible breasts.

I didn't click anything to see this stuff, and my account follows almost nothing. The site has gone to the dogs. How ANY advertiser continues to spend there, I do not know.

This has long been in the works, and after Elon Musk sold Billions in Tesla stocks to pay for Twitter while both Twitter and Tesla are seemingly tanking in value, he is now demanding a compensation package as a reward for his crucial role in... Tesla.

My opinion? I hope the other share holders kick Musk to the curve and start making decisions that benefit the company and not just Musk. But it seems a lot of Tesla shareholders are cucked Elon simps who want this to happen.

He's on the board of directors or some such shit for Tesla, yes? Wouldn't threatening to cripple the company by withholding shit he probably doesn't actually have the rights to withhold basically be a complete violation of his fiduciary duties as a board member and a pretty open and shut case for booting him off the board, and possibly out of the company entirely?

Like, I would think that all the people ACTUALLY RESPONSIBLE for developing that shit would be livid to find out that the Muskrat is using their life's work as a bargaining chip to line his own pockets this blatantly.

Goes without saying that he won't be involved in creating any of those. In fact, I suspect they'd probably turn out better without him, given what we've seen about how Twitter operates now he's in charge.

I've never sent a Tweet in my life. I get the same stuff Rustedsaint does. I suspect it might be because we're Canadian and there's different rules on advertising up here.
