When challenging a Kzin, a simple scream of rage is sufficient. You scream and you leap.

The onus is on you to curate your social media experience when it comes to content that isn't explicitly harmful. 99 times out of 100, the sort of censorship you support actually ends up hurting more people than it helps because "NSFW content" is a label that invariably includes things like queer people existing.
"Hurr durr porn bad" is a child's take on the world, and such people shouldn't be using social media to start with.

I get that they're essentially just trying to cover their asses, but they're erring too far on the side of censorship.
Other than X, are there any ad driven platforms that allow NSFW? Other than porn websites obviously.
As for X, the platform advertising revenue dropped by 53% from the previous year in 2023. This year, it appears that the drop has slowed down. However, it is still estimated to be on the order of 25%.
Unfortunately, Musk kept shooting himself in the foot. Sharing a highly-manipulated version of a Kamala Harris ad was probably as bad or even worse than perception of antisemitism on the platform last fall. We could easily see another 40% to 50% drop in X's advertising revenue in 2024.
Again?
Elon Musk files new lawsuit against OpenAI and Sam Altman
Yep again. This time it is slightly different than the previous lawsuit.
The new lawsuit claims Altman and Brockman “manipulated” Musk into co-founding OpenAI.
“Elon Musk’s case against Sam Altman and OpenAI is a textbook tale of altruism versus greed. Altman, in concert with other Defendants, intentionally courted and deceived Musk, preying on Musk’s humanitarian concern about the existential dangers posed by artificial intelligence,” the lawsuit said.
The lawsuit seeks “a constructive trust on Defendants’ ill-gotten gains, property, and assets traceable to Musk’s significant contributions to OpenAI” and that “a judicial determination that OpenAI, Inc.’s license to Microsoft is null and void.”

Damn, so Elon's PAC is really just a data farm misrepresenting itself as a way to help folks get registered to vote. The website says it will help the viewer register to vote. But once a user clicks “Register to Vote,” the experience he or she will have can be very different, depending on where they live.
If a user lives in a state that is not considered competitive in the presidential election, like California or Wyoming for example, they’ll be prompted to enter their email addresses and ZIP code and then directed quickly to a voter registration page for their state, or back to the original sign-up section.
But for users who enter a ZIP code that indicates they live in a battleground state, like Pennsylvania or Georgia, the process is very different.
Rather than be directed to their state’s voter registration page, they instead are directed to a highly detailed personal information form, prompted to enter their address, cellphone number and age.
If they agree to submit all that, the system still does not steer them to a voter registration page. Instead, it shows them a “thank you” page.
So that person who wanted help registering to vote? In the end, they got no help at all registering. But they did hand over priceless personal data to a political operation.
And very explicitly so given that the people it will actually send to the correct place to register live exclusively outside of battleground states, and the folks living in battleground states are not directed in any way towards voter registration information.
Hell, Twitter did before Elon bought it too. Maybe not so officially, but there was plenty of porn and smut to be found if one had even the slightest inclination.
If I recall correctly, Senator Rafael "Ted" Cruz's account "liked" some milf porn and then blamed it on an intern.
He's amplifying racist riots in the UK... nothing is too low for him now.
X will soon remove the amount of likes, comments, reposts, etc from replies to posts.
You can click on each to still view this info however.
So a social media platform with hardly no interaction. GG Elon.
For those asking for a source: there is a feature flag in X for iOS v10.53 that was released today.
I was able to enable this flag on my iPhone to see what it would look like.
This has NOT been officially announced yet, but this is how many companies test unreleased features.

The reality is that any website that uses a major credit card processor is going to be a victim of American puritanism, and that is partly why the modern internet is so dogshit.
Frisco techbros love it though. The internet being 4 websites designed to cater to tasteless old white people is very exploitable from a privacy standpoint.

Cry more.
What a frivolous lawsuit. I'm glad Elon is getting desperate in trying to claim an advertiser conspiracy. I hope one of these companies get medieval on his ass and starts going doing the rabbit hole of Elon pumping white supremacy and hate on platform. I hope one of these companies go deeeep on discovery here on what Elon has been pumping.
