For context: White supremacist MAGA are starting to realize that companies like X, Tesla, and other highly technical companies are only hiring H1 B visa immigrants. Elon and Vivek have both said they do this because white Americans are too dumb and lazy, which of course has angered the white supremacist wing of MAGA. They're demanding to know why Elon and other right wing tech companies refuse to hire Americans born on American soil, or even consider their job applications.

The short answer that Elon and Vivek won't tell you, is that H1-B migrant visa workers are effectively indentured servants. You can pay them diddly squat, and to keep their work visa they have to comply with every order given. On the other hand native born white Americans demand higher pay, and can both question their boss as well as threaten to quit if things aren't going their way.

You're absolutely right about how corporations use the H-1B program. Technically, there's an out, in that if the employee can find a different job without getting fired by their current employer, who will absolutely fire them, report them to immigration, and in general fuck them over as much as possible, lest the other indentured servants get ideas. Which in practice means they have to find a job without their current employer finding out. And then they're in the same boat with their new employer, who might not be as evil.

But the main reason I responded was to point out that Elon is lying. The H-1B program was created in late 1990, spinning off from the H-1 visa that had not been (ab)used in the way he and his ilk have abused the H-1B. Unless you think that "hundred of companies... that made America strong" took place entirely in the last 33 years. (Something I would certainly not agree with, although to be fair, I've been largely absent for over a decade. Maybe the US has gotten much better in the last 10 years... but I don't think so.)

Yeah I figured it wouldn't be until 2025, Leon speed ran his beef with MAGA because his fragile ego couldn't let him just lie about not hiring Americans. He could have made fake accounts and had them come forward pretending to be white people hired by X and said "See we employ white people too!" But instead he had to defend his H1B visa abuse and call white americans dumb and uneducated.

BTW, last night in a twitter space, which is basically just a big group chat on X, Elon went onto his sock puppet account with a voice changer and started cussing out anyone who was at all critical of Elon. People who have known him for a long time confirmed the name was one of his fake account aliases, and the speech patterns were analyzed and it's 100% him. Elon has lots of sock puppet accounts that all just simp for him. Many of them appeared shortly after he acquired twitter and gained hundreds of thousands of followers over a course of days with barely any posts.

He's a 53 year old richest man in the world acting like I did when I was 14.

I doubt it gets anywhere near that. Trump's too incompetent to use his power towards such a clear goal, he mostly wanted to keep out of legal trouble, spite the people he hates, and enact some pet projects he thinks will bring him the recognition/attention he believes to deserve like the whole tariffs nonsense. Grandiose plans to reconfigure the American economy are beyond his scope. At worst he'll do loads of damage by being as inept as during his first mandate. Still bad mind you, but not the same thing.

Musk tho, could have said grandiose plans. He won't be President (unless SCOTUS and Congress go literally full retard in his favor) so I don't want to overstate his influence but he's far more likely to actually to accomplish something deliberate than Trump's shtick of throwing shit at the wall.
