You're spending all your time trying to convince yourself it's over and there's nothing anyone can do rather than trying to figure out what you could do.

History is chock full of examples of people who had far less power and freedom bringing down much more competent and authoritarian regimes. Why are the American people so uniquely weak and ineffectual, by comparison? Or is this just a lie you've been sold by those who are afraid you'll realize how strong you are collectively?

Literally the only people standing in your way is yourselves.

I live in a pretty peaceful neighborhood, porch thieves are rare and likely come from other areas of the city. It has a diversity of white, black, hispanic, asian and other. We're all starting to organize because of what's going on. Some are starting gardens, some are getting chickens for eggs. And we're all looking out for each other. If some federal government agency comes sniffing around we're going to give them the cold shoulder. We're not selling out our neighbors and their loved ones.

The resistance doesn't need to be an armed insurrection, the resistance can simply be relying on those around you for help, and rejection of government forces.

i'll just touch on this one to start because it's the one i know the most about:
this was not in any way shape or form a spontaneous citizen uprising, the american revolution was 100% rich elites seeking to solidify and expand their wealth and power explicitly at the expense of others, while conning the plebes into believing a lie about freedom.

i know off the top of my head that at least half of those others are not remotely close to what you're trying to suggest for americans right now, and i find it frankly disingenuous that you're trying to pawn this off as comparable.

There's plenty more out there, and this mostly covers areas and eras I actually studied but I think I've made my point. Like, you could say "some of these were political!", but they all mostly represented a major shift in the structure of that society's government which amounts to a disagreement over how to ethically run that government, and most weren't directly sparked off by some new material crisis other than the general restrictions of the prior regime.

and also none of those involved a citizenry unaffected by said regime rising up to overthrow it because they didn't like their trade policy or tone at their press conferences.

like i've said repeatedly i'm not suggesting people don't rise up when they get sick enough of somebody's shit, my point is that the conditions in the US are not close to the set of conditions required for that to happen.
and i'm also not saying that "it's over" and the US is doomed, just that your suggestion that people should go by an old OSS book so that the approximately 1.5 million government employees (which is half of the 3 million total and so for the sake of argument let's assume they're equally split to the voting population) can sabotage this particular administration in an act of small defiance is... not especially realistic or helpful to the goal of overthrowing what is, by your assertion, essentially a nazi regime?
