"The Treasury Department has now launched a forensic investigation into how one of Elon Musk’s people was given permission to alter the department’s database. That’s right, permission to alter the database."

I don't think people here are aware of how fucked we are unless Elon Musk is arrested and charged. I'm far more prepared to weather a storm of stupid of just a Trump presidency, but Elon Musk pulling the strings is 1000x worse.

Senior Treasury officials wrote in sworn declarations that Marko Elez, a 25-year-old former SpaceX and X engineer, was erroneously granted “read/write” privileges to a secure payments system on Feb. 5.

Elez resigned from the Treasury Department a day later, after The Wall Street Journal surfaced racist social media posts, and Treasury officials said he has not been reinstated to his previous role.
Oh so it's the eugenicist with a phrenology hobby.

Because you can also eat them. They come from Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. It is the new item. On a side note, how is that bulletproof Cybertruck coming? Oh, it isn't? Oh, it actually falls apart when you use it for anything that it is advertised for, including even driving around? Oh, those things also cause a void in your warranty even though they stipulate you can do those things?

Might as well as get a bunch of Teslas that would also be as armored, be as tough as the Cybertruck. Funny thing is, adding more weight onto the vehicle will literally cause its range to drop exponentially. They might get from one side of DC to the other on one full charge before needing to recharge. Might is the keyword there.

And there it is. I've been putting this out there since Jan 31. I literally have. And people were saying "Oh, it is an overreaction. It is not a big thing. Who cares if Musk can get your personal information? What is he going to do with it."

Trump has NEVER been the issue. He is an issue in and of itself but Musk is a far more pressing issue. Trump is the distraction and Musk is the guy doing the actual pickpocketing. And I've been shouting it for the past 2 weeks that they are changing code and who knows what else in extremely sensitive systems.

I am tired but I will never relent. Because the alternative is far worse. FAR FAR worse.

People are still denying Elon Musk fucked with the election, but I watched Musk's interview with Tucker Carlson and Musk's kid says "They'll never know what we did, hee hee, we can do whatever we want".

There's way too much subtle bragging going on for something to have not happened. Be prepared for a Republican super majority in 2026 if Musk isn't forcibly arrested, after that constitutional alterations are going to be within their grasp.

They will still do it, it's the only way Elon can sell cyber trucks the "trucks" that are so bad they can't handle rain and get outperformed by sedans while costing 3x more. Them putting armor on them is the literal definition of lipstick on a pig.

Would a vehicle which can be taken out by an EMP be considered secure? Asking for a friend.

Can someone explain Ro Khanna to me?
A week ago Dems tried to get a vote to subpoena Musk. Ro Khanna was "absent", and the GOP memebers *ran hard* back to the room to stop it.

Sure this is tiger beat of the potomic, but with a rare direct quote. Usually they go with unamed congressional aide.

Looks more like that he was just lying about accidentally missing the subpoena vote, right?
I mean, was the former VC lawyer a techbro plant all along?

I will never understand why media and Democrats keep thinking that Republicans will participate honestly or in good faith.

    It's mass-delusion at this point.
