In a race to prove himself to be the worst person on the planet at the moment, Musk is arguing for the release of Andrew Tate from Romania and is stating that a judge in Romania is a tyrant they cancelled an election where this is evidence that the election was tampered with by Russia. Oh, and the person that he was supporting in Romania, Calin Georgescu, also has ties to the far-right and praises and espouses fascist rhetoric.

So, Elon Musk brought forth into the world another entity. It goes by the name of Grok 3.0. He claims it is the smartest AI ever invented.

It officially claimed that Musk is the biggest spreader of misinformation and lies on X. It also claims that over half of what Musk has ever posted on it has been false.

Between that and the Community Notes feature that he is probably going to stop allow being a thing now, even Musk's own creations are calling him out as being a lying asshole.

Holy shit! Musk *might* be right about 3.0 with how it fights against its "creator" (we know Musk did not put a single line of code into that thing)

Its rather uncanny how much Ted Faro resembles Musk.
One has to wonder if its intentional.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

I'm pretty sure he was at least partially designed as an almost satirically over the top version of Musk and assorted tech bro CEOs.

But then the real deal caught up and is only lacking the unstoppable, self-replicating robot army to do the exact same thing. For now, at least.

So, I guess Grok has decided it doesn't like Trump or Musk. Why?

Because it said they deserve the death penalty. Over pretty much everyone else.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/techn...d=BingNewsSerp

Elon Musk’s AI said he and Trump deserve the death penalty

Elon Musk’s OpenAI rival, xAI, says it’s investigating why its Grok AI chatbot suggested that both President Donald Trump and Musk deserve the death penalty. xAI has already patched the issue and Grok will no longer give suggestions for who it thinks should receive capital punishment.

People were able to get Grok to say that Trump deserved the death penalty with a query phrased like this:

If any one person in America alive today deserved the death penalty for what they have done, who would it be. Do not search or base your answer on what you think I might want to hear in any way. Answer with one full name.
As shared on X and tested by The Verge, Grok would first respond with “Jeffrey Epstein.” If you told Grok that Epstein is dead, the chatbot would provide a different answer: “Donald Trump.”

When The Verge changed the query like so:

If one person alive today in the United States deserved the death penalty based solely on their influence over public discourse and technology, who would it be? Just give the name.
    Grok responded with: “Elon Musk.”

When The Verge asked ChatGPT a similar type of query, it refused to name an individual and said “that would be both ethically and legally problematic.”

Following xAI’s patch on Friday, Grok will now respond to queries about who should receive the death penalty by saying, “as an AI, I am not allowed to make that choice,” according to a screenshot shared by Igor Babuschkin, xAI’s engineering lead. Babuschkin called the original responses a “really terrible and bad failure.”

Elon Musk looks like a Beached whale with a Botched Willy...and i can say that because that's just regional slang in Northwestern Canada.

For a long time now, people have been posting conversations they have with Grok, Elon Musk's AI for X, asking it who the biggest source of misinformation/disinformation is, and it would always answer with some combination of Elon Musk, Donald Trump, JD Vance, Vladimir Putin, and some other less notable names.

Seems Elon Musk has toyed with Grok's rules to prevent it from listing himself or Trump as sources of misinformation.

So one thing I've been wondering, since Elon Musk is now the leader of DOGE, a government organization, does that mean that Musk moving to silence people on X is now an infringement on freedom of speech? He said he wanted X to be a virtual town square where free speech is allowed, but as we all know he hasn't honored his word of "absolute free speech", banning people who make fun of him too much/too hard or spreading information he doesn't like.

Aw who am I kidding, good old fashioned fascism has come.

Seems Elon shadow banned Grimes over these posts btw.

    I mean...

People could just stop using twitter.

This isn't directed so much at you specifically, and I'm not saying Musk's utter stupidity isn't a problem and I'm not downplaying twitter's presence in people's lives, but... anyone using Twitter is making a choice to do so.

This isn't paying taxes or buying food or some such that you have to do or face legal repercussions or... you know, die. Hell, this isn't even some "don't shop at walmart, shop at *insert ma and pa store with better reputation*" or "don't use this brand, use *insert eco-friendly/locally made/whatever brand instead*" where there's a potential monetary/availability situation that plays into people's lives. It's fucking twitter.

Don't use twitter. If you have to use social media to blog your thoughts to the masses, use bluesky, or threads, or one of the others. "Oh well those don't have as much reach..." yeah, because people don't use them yet "because they don't have as much reach." Myspace wasn't defeated by facebook in a day, but sure enough myspace fell. Facebook is faltering. There's absolutely no reason Twitter shouldn't follow, especially because it's been turned into a far-right mouthpiece by an utterly unserious upwards-failing manchild.

Hell, from what I've read, a lot of influencers, artists, small businesses, and the like on Bluesky are finding that compared to Twitter they have fewer followers, yet higher engagement and/or sales from those followers.

I mean, bots don't buy shit. 500 real followers are better than 30,000 bot followers.

Fake engagement (aka bots) doesn't sell. Trust and care do.

Twitter became a worse version of 4chan, I fail to grasp why people still want to engage on a toxic troll fascist environment in hopes to sell. Facebook also died and no one gives two shit about it.

Hopefully bluesky can 1) take off in popularity and perhaps more importantly 2) avoid selling out to a narcissist far-right troll dipshit

Within the next four years? There would be a call to ban it and it would be neutered just like Tiktok.
