It was always 130 days until he had to release stuff. That comes at the end of may which is when Elon is tasked to leave. Granted, I wonder if there is actually something more to it than just "Well, my time is up" type of stuff.

Remember he was called out for trying to install remote access into the systems that would allow him to pause, cancel and even redirect money in a way that would be hard to track where the command came from.

If he does that,

1) What are the odds Trump would stop him?
2) What are the odds Trump would block audits of the system to check after he was gone?
3) What are the odds Trump would block or slow attempts to fix it if found?
4) What are the odds Trump would love to have Musk mess with the systems without accountability and with plausible deniability as he hurts people they don’t like and funnels potentially trillions between both of them?

Musk doesn't work I think we've figured that out since he spends so much time tweeting. I don't think anything will change aside pretending he left, he will get more contracts and the firings will continue. The entire DOGE staff are Musk dedicated cult employees who are still following his orders, whatever plan they have to rob the tax payers blind is continuing aside from the marketing.

So we're starting to get reports that ICE detention facilities have cruel and inhumane conditions for the people it's holding. In Florida, the Krome ICE detention facility has a capacity of 500, and is currently holding about 4000 people who are still waiting on... whatever due process Republicans feel like giving them.

Detention facilities are typically used until transportation for deportation can be secured for the people, but many have already been there since the beginning of the Trump administration, with no news for what's going to happen to them. These detention facilities are giving their occupants one cup of water per day along with a paltry amount of food. This has already resulted in several deaths of occupants who are malnourished and dehydrated.

In any normal society this would be considered a crime against humanity, but in the Trump administration it's just another day.

Incidentally, did anyone know that concentration camps did not immediately start as death camps? They were originally camps designed to hold Jews and other "degenerates" of society until they could be deported to other countries, but the camps began to rapidly fill up as surrounding countries stopped accepting German exports of its own citizens.

As the camps filled, people began to die of starvation and dehydration, the conditions in the camps were cruel, and eventually Germany built work facilities so that the prisoners in the camps could "work off their debts to the German people", using the concentration camp prisoners as free labor to build munitions.

The actual gas chambers didn't start running until several years later, when the camps were overflowing and Germany realized it would be cheaper to just mass murder them all instead of continuing to house and feed millions of people.
