.... The problem is that lemons are generally supposed to be rare, IDK if we can apply it to Teslas when "having a defect" is just... being a Tesla...

Thanks for the elaboration. I guess the solution is to hand them over to Cave Johnson

You don't need a Cave Johnson and his engineers to make a combustible Tesla that'll burn your house down.

Elon is probably not having a good time right now, with Trump targeting China it is only a matter of time before the Chinese government decides to take it out on him. If Elon loses China Tesla may as well declare bankruptcy.

SCOOP: The Social Security Administration (SSA) will be shifting its public communication exclusively to X, sources tell WIRED. This comes as agency plans to cut its regional office workforce by roughly 90 percent.

This is the BIG grab of privatization of Social Security. A nice money grab for Musk.

Manipulation, money and dependency on Twitter. Now old people have to log on to Twitter..

Strange once more how Twitter and federal government are going closer.

So, Elon Musk is complaining about people not liking him and dammit, it must all be the fault of liberals, not of his own actions. According to him. So Elon, firing a bunch of people illegally, illegally cutting things that isn't allowed to be cut, actively hindering any investigation into you and getting the government to give you deals while cutting others to benefit yourself or your companies isn't the reason, according to you.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/comp...c545838a&ei=19

Recent polling shows people don't like Musk. On Friday, numbers pundit Nate Silver posted on X that Musk's popularity is at negative 14 points. Trump, for comparison, is at negative 5 points. The chart shows that Musk's popularity markedly decreased when Trump took office, with 39.6 percent of respondents viewing him favorably as of this month.

Musk blamed this decline on liberals waging a successful propaganda campaign against him, and suggested that Republicans are not boosting him in kind. But he also more or less admitted he is making himself unpopular.

"The inevitable outcome of having a political propaganda war waged against me while I have almost no countervailing campaign and, at times, digging my own grave way better than my enemies do," Musk replied to Silver, adding two crying-laughing emojis at the end, an emoji he uses frequently.
As Rolling Stone reported earlier this week, Musk's pillaging of the government is infuriating everyday Americans and Trump aides alike.

"Talking to the guy is sometimes like listening to really rusty nails on a chalkboard," a senior Trump administration official told Rolling Stone. "He's just the most irritating person I've ever had to deal with, and that is saying something."

Musk and his so-called Department of Government Efficiency have been furiously slashing the federal government, purging workers, and aiding Trump's crackdown on immigration. Tens of thousands of federal workers have been fired, with more firings on the way. And on Friday, Politico reported that longtime Musk buddy Antonio Gracias is leading a DOGE immigration task force that has wormed itself into the Department of Homeland Security. Gracias has also made misleading claims about non-citizens receiving Social Security based on data that a court barred DOGE from accessing.

Well, it's kind of true. Liberals have run a successful propaganda campaign on him. The problem is the reason it's successful is because it's all true.

Elon Musk responds with 'laughing emojis' to stories of workers' lives he's ruined: report

Musk has regularly "privately messaged associates and confidants about reports from federal staffers about how their lives have been wrecked" and "has been known to react with laugh-crying emojis" to their stories.

Musk's cavalier attitude toward fired federal employees was also confirmed on the record by Ben Vizzachero, a wildlife biologist with the Los Padres National *Forest who had been fired by Musk earlier this year.
Elon is a psycopath unable to feel empathy for anyone else, he laughs while he fires people but sheds tears when talking about Tesla's falling stock price.

Sorry but lol. Elon already lost China with these tariffs, they don't need to target him specifically. They don't need to target anything, nothing US could export to China would be competitive at these rates. Elon is probably going to make more than enough from public contracts and subsidies to make up for it.

Tesla has a massive factory in China, they aren't going to be affected as much with the tariffs but they will take a hit. Even the US made factory only has 60% of its production locally. China can basically shut down Tesla anytime but I agree the plan for Elon is to steal as much money as possible from the government. That's why they are floating things like making seniors use Twitter and giving Elon welfare I mean contracts left and right.

I don't see Elon and the current administration staying friends too much longer TBH, the cracks are already beginning to show. Such a shame, one can criticize the Biden administration/Democratic establishment without going full on Republican, which is what he and Tulsi Gabbard have done.

And neither are truly "anti-war", they simply mimic whatever most Republicans happen to support these days (95% military support for Netanyahu, deep contempt/indifference towards Ukraine, mixed and confusing messages towards everything else; Tulsi said as much in an interview last year)

"The beauty of America was that it insisted that there are whole realms of human life located outside the province of politics, like friendships, art, music, family and love. And those are the most important parts of life. And anyone that says otherwise is forgetting what it means to be American and really a human being. Being a founder means resisting nihilism. [It]...doesn’t mean killing what you hate, it means saving what you love."

I am sure no one likes Elon within the administration heck his children hate him however Trump is the one calling the shot and he won't break up with Elon. Even without his money he still has Twitter and he likes having that echo chamber brainwashing his supporters. Elon keeps getting new welfare checks I mean government contracts. I don't see any real break with Trump so I think he's pretty safe.

    eDolf has no friends.
For all the children he has and basically buys, I do not at all have an impression of Elon Musk as a man who fucks.

Free link to crazy WSJ story about Musk and his “harem drama.” Can’t do it justice with the four-screenshot limit!

How eDolf punishes harem girls that misbehave... lost twitter clout.

As much of an asshole Musk is, I directly put blame on social media on this and the rise of influencers doing pretty much nothing and expecting a big return on it. I have no issue with influencers in and of themselves. They are entertainment, of course.

But, regardless of anything else, if an influencer or social media personality wants to prevent any real massive loss of income, they need to be out there as much as possible like any other media personality is on multiple platforms. Otherwise, this might happen.

Granted, Musk is a completely disgusting person for trying to use his platform to basically do what happened here. And I don't blame her in any way for rejecting his advances like this.
