They rolled out the feature that allows you to see where the account is based in... It will also display an icon if someone is using a VPN, so a lot of people have been outed just for using VPN.

I'm really not surprised that 95% of "Real American patriot, Christian, Dad, MAGA" white supremacists are from Inidia/Russia/Middle East/South America. Some of the biggest roman statue PFPs on that site have been unmasked as Indian and southeast Asian. And you might think well why do Indies care about US politics?

That was faked. You can tell by the fact that every other screenshot only shows the country, not the city. Also, the idea that any US government account is being run from a foreign country is one of those things that should immediately set off everyone's bullshit detectors. Grok, X's own AI thing, confirmed that it displaced Israel for DHS, and early queries to Grok revealed that it was being investigated. Later, once they had the official talking points, Grok said that it was likely a display glitch or an IP error. And since we know Grok is Elon's propaganda machine (and thus Trump's, and thus Israel's) it's the usual "This was only ever a bug!" BUT THEY'RE NOT DENYING IT HAPPENED.
