I mean....
NEW: Elon Musk says he’ll vote for Republicans this year because “the Democratic Party is overly controlled by the unions and…class-action lawyers.”
Musk is a notorious union-buster & was hit with a class-action lawsuit from 1k Black workers who alleged rampant racism at Tesla.
Vid embedded.
Shocker! I will play my "both sides" here by saying unions are not perfect, yet this is why Democrats have become radical? In short Union membership has declined and wages are stagnate, while in private sector unions have a higher wage.
So now 65% of public is for unions a strong uptick cause You Know, seeing during the pandemic that workers got shitted on made them wake up a little. Dems are helped the decline of the unions by shitting on them and taking corporate money. Also while not controlled remember people a big reason Republicans hate unions is because they are a strong voting base for Democrats. So by destroying Unions they are killing two birds with one stone in getting rid of a voting base.
All in all as UnfilteredJW stated, it's Musk showing his colors as the corporate trash who he is by showing it's about maxing money over the value of his employees,
In short the reason we had unions rise and least become popular for a hot minute was businesses treated their employees like crap.
Democrats are the best! I will never ever question a Democrat again. I LOVE the Democrats!
According to @PC2, this is likely actually very very moral. Since he did pay her a bunch of money, after all.

Y'all, don't worry. Elon Musk called his mom in for some backup, she's defending her sweet baby boy!
Either is a great choice as long as Musk doesn't adopt the backwards social positions like banning abortions, LGBT intolerance, invoking the supernatural(religion), etc.
In your dreams, bud. Those of us on Team Musk are going to make this guy a trillionaire. I think Musk should branch out and make and sell more products, I want the option to only buy things sold by him...and a fucking moron that is trying to destroy his company with this deal.
Hmm well I think it's a good sign that someone like him becomes popular instead of the typical Hollywood actors and celebrities like Kim Kardashian. I personally feel that young people are idolizing the wrong people and that sci-tech innovators and entrepreneurs are better role models.
As far as the weird cult aspect I think we're just having fun with the community that's gathered around his ventures. We're (probably) not really brainwashed by his leadership charisma like with a typical cult leader.
There's so much potential for wealth creation that it doesn't really matter. $40 bil is nothing compared to how much money he can make in the next decade.
How about we not idolize rich people in general? Or like, other people? That sounds better to me. Elon Musk is not a role model, fuckin lol.
Unless you think role models expose themselves to people, proposition them for sex, offer to buy them a horse, and then have their company pay said victim $250K to remain silent.
That's a bold claim, Cotton.

Ah, the 'ol Madison Cawthorn strategy. Let's see if it works out for a super rich guy instead of some loser 20something year old.
As much as there is a cult following of Musk, there is also an anti cult following that screeches on social media about everything he does. They are already comparing him to Hitler, lol. You guys are cringe, honestly, both sides.
I don't like the guy because he has the power to do dumb things and ruin people's lives inadvertently in the process, but you guys are way too invested in this.
He says he will probably vote Republican on the next elections? Oh my, this cannot stand, we must act! (By being way too loud on social media about it).
This is way too Orwellian for my tastes.
This thread started off nicely about the whole Twitter acquisition fiasco, but the last few days have been nothing but mundane shitflinging and echo chambering that's frankly boring as hell.
Even moderators like @Edge- do it. Just take a step back. Can we return to the original thing?
Musk might make a move by the end of this week. Twitter had a small uptick yesterday, this might continue if the markets hold. If Musk is smart he will wait it out, because I'm personally pessimistic about the market performance, but I think he's too impatient and will blow his load either this week or the next.
If you think people openly and freely criticising those with the most power in society is "Orwellian", you've never read any Orwell in your life.
At least, in the common sense, referring to the subject matter of Orwell's antagonists. The people calling Musk out are acting very much like Orwell himself, who let's recall, was such an Antifa socialist he signed up in a foreign war because he wasn't getting to kill enough fascists at home.
Is it a bunch of literally who's? I bet it is.
What? People calling a piece of shit a pie4ce of shit?
We are, we're watching Musks self-implosion over Twitter unfold in real-time, with him getting backup from his mom who thinks a bunch of bots are being mean to her baby boi.
so he was trying to get ahead of a story that he paid off some bird he exposed himself to.
lol big epstien vibes, no wonder him and his brother liked they guyThe attendant worked as a member of the cabin crew on a contract basis for SpaceX's corporate jet fleet. She accused Musk of exposing his erect penis to her, rubbing her leg without consent, and offering to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage, according to interviews and documents obtained by Insider.
Likely the NDA or other court documents, if this is legit. It's a big claim, but Business Insider isn't exactly well known for making shit up.
Though

I mean if this is "politically motivated" and "fake news", why on earth would he say there's more to this story instead of saying there's nothing to this story? After Insider contacted Musk for comment, he emailed to ask for more time to respond and said there is "a lot more to this story."
If he runs Twitter like his other companies, the women at Twitter better hope they can stay remote.
