Dracthyr wastes decades of Warcraft Dragon lore, make Evokers regular Dragons instead

IDK, on one part I agree that we could have leaned more on the actual lore, but on the other, how do you make a Dragon work as a playable race both in lore and gameplay terms?

ITs simple, and other games nailed.

Make a "dragonkin", a humanoid dragon, who is close enough, D&D ahve dragonborns and draconicans, wow already had drakonids, they on purpose put on the trashcan what we had to make this thing.

There is nor eason or sense to want be a full on dragon in a mmo, its bananas, is like saying you want to be an old god next void expansion, and you have a void elf turning into a humanoid yog'ssaron.

If Blizzard is plainly stating that it is a dragon despite its hybridity, you saying it isn’t a dragon is pure headcanon.
