nope, i merely said claiming something without proof - something you btw did too - is bullshit... i didnt say he didnt do it, i merely said if someone claims he did it and they claim to have evidence how come they dont provide the evidence? that is suspicious, and in case of journalists a malpractice, and its reason people are misinforem about everything, bcs proof is no longer needed...
just bcs it fits with your already decided opinion on someone doesnt make it truth, or right thing to do...

asking for proof before making opinion is not defense, its common sense and OBJECTIVITY, i know wild concept for people like you who just go with the hate train, but objectivity IS important... even if the person is guilty...

so you dont know what he said, you dont know what the apology said, basicaly you got vague article without any sourcing and you call that evidence... god i hope you dont work anywhere near law...

and rfuck bobby he is moron at best, but for god sake "someone said something unspecific" is not evidence, if you think it is you are out of reality...

You literally won't see it have any sort of impact whatsoever until earliest 13.0 lol...
They're already halfway trough making 11... They always are... Which means now when DF is released? They're already working on expansion 12...
So yeh... SUPER EARLIEST is expo 13 having any sort of influence from microsoft...
    So... about 5-8 years?

It's not going on console. They aren't going to split the small player base even further.

They won't have to they'll share the same servers most definitely. It might create another class of player for the community to try and shit on because they use a controller but that's just short sighted for those people who would be that way.

Not to mention gamepass ultimate is on PC as well so regardless once battle net merges with game pass it's going to be on there.

Apparently the merger is going to be challenged...

    1. THey won't be able to share servers. IT is too cost prohibitive to port an almost 20 year game with 20 year old code to console.

    2. No it won't be on gamepass. Their only other MMO is still not on it. WoW wil not be any different.

Challenged by the US, EU and UK regulators so far.

I don't really follow financial stuff that much, maybe mergers of this size just almost always get challenged.

Microsoft has come under fire in the past for anti-competitive practices, so maybe the company gets scrutinized more.

The awful thing is, Sony is far more anti-consumer than MS here

Except the FTC hasn't announced anything yet and have yet to actually file anything in a court of law.

And if a lawsuit is coming there's no guarantee it's to block the deal - one of the ways you get to concessions is to get the companies to agree to what's known in the US as a "consent decree". And you get to a consent decree level by either filing an official complaint or ..... filing a lawsuit.

And before they do that (filing a lawsuit as a regulatory agency) they need to find something actually illegal in the context and framework of the appropriate competition laws.

Regulators finding reasons to move to a Phase 2 investigation stage of a merger review prompted by the companies involved specifically filing with them is not them challenging the deal.

We'll know if they formally have an issue with the deal when they file a lawsuit specifically to block it (and not say wanting to get M$ and ATVI to agree to a consent decree). Or if they issue their final findings report which they haven't yet.

It's not like WoW is really struggling at all... at least when it comes to money.

Largely true. Microsoft did seem worried about the UK regulator parroting SONY's views though. All I am saying is, the acquisition is not a sure thing and for how much it was reported here and e.g. in WoWHead when it happened, they haven't picked up any of the news concerning the process since.
