What's best is Walker speaking as if he is an expert. He starts by telling crowd "we need energy for everything" then rolls into he tells the crowd he will inform them on climate change before going into his China rant.

I'm stealing Sam Seder, a liberal commentator. He mentions this particular Georgia election and midterms about being a test of people just voting for team red and not for the quality of candidate. Seder speaking of course on our lower turnout in midterms which generally helps Republicans.

Fetterman’s team announced the accomplishment Tuesday, reporting it’s the most money any Pennsylvania Senate candidate has ever raised in one-quarter of fundraising.

The totals come from over 358,000 donations from over 200,00 unique donors, the campaign touted. they also said these numbers include more than 139,000 first-time donors. Heading into the summer, Fetterman has a reported $5.5 million cash on hand to continue to battle Dr. Oz of Senator Toomey’s coveted seat in D.C.

The primaries continue, Republicans lose as required when they're running against each other in a primary. Duh. That's how it works.

    Unless.

GOP primary losers cast doubt on elections

Yep, this AP article details how the Party of Trump is hiding under the "I didn't lose, you cheated" rock.

It was no shock that state Rep. Ron Hanks and Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters handily lost their recent Republican primaries in Colorado for U.S. Senate and secretary of state.

Hanks was outspent 14-to-1 by his rival. Peters, who was vying to become Colorado’s top elections official, had been indicted on seven felony charges alleging she helped orchestrate a breach of her voting system’s hard drive.

But this past week, both candidates formally requested recounts of their primary elections from June 28, suggesting widespread irregularities seen by no one other than their own campaigns and allies.

“I have reasons to believe extensive malfeasance occurred in the June 2022 primary,” Peters wrote in her recount request, “and that the apparent outcome of this election does not reflect the will of Colorado voters not only for myself but also for many other America First statewide and local primary candidates.”
"Oh that's just two. Hardly a reason to--"

In Georgia, Trump’s two recruits to challenge the state’s governor and secretary of state — former Sen. David Perdue and former Rep. Jodi Hice — admitted defeat after they lost the May primaries. But Kandiss Taylor, a fringe candidate who won only 3% of the primary vote for governor, refused to concede, claiming there was widespread cheating.
    "Three, fine. But th-"

In South Carolina, Republican Harrison Musselwhite — who goes by Trucker Bob — lost his primary against Gov. Henry McMaster by 66 percentage points. Still, he complained of problems with the election to the state party, as did another losing GOP contender, Lauren Martel, who ran for for attorney general. The party rejected their claims.
    "Okay, four. Fine. So wh--"

Joey Gilbert, who came in second in the Nevada Republican primary for governor, posted a Facebook video days after the June tally showing him 26,000 votes short. “These elections, the way they’ve been run, it’s like Swiss cheese,” he said. “There’s too many holes.”

Gilbert, who attended Trump’s rally near the White House on Jan. 6, 2021, before the riot at the U.S. Capitol, demanded a recount. The results appear unlikely to substantially change the final tally. He did not return messages seeking comment.
    "...are you done?"

    Funny story: no.

In Arizona, former newscaster Kari Lake won Trump’s endorsement in her quest for the party’s nomination for governor, insisting that he won the presidency in 2020. This past week, she told supporters that her top opponent in the primary “might be trying to set the stage for another steal” in next month’s primary.
"Okay! Fine! I get it! So wh--"

In Colorado, county clerk Peters immediately questioned the primary results once the tally showed her losing badly in the secretary of state’s race. Claiming fraud as she trailed former county clerk Pam Anderson
    No relation.

a regular debunker of Trump’s election lies, Peters said: “Looking at the results, it’s just so obvious it should be flipped.”
So here's my latest challenge. I state, with this as evidence, that the Party of Trump has decided to follow Trump's example, and to claim without basis or evidence or even common sense that, if they lost, it's because their opponents, their fellow Republicans, have cheated. This is systemic, and this is ongoing.

I will now start challenging varous posters -- some who are known Trump supporters, some whose opinion on the subject I just want to hear -- to contradict this. Since I am claiming Trump is the cause of this objectively significant policy within the "Republican" Party after his failed coup, I will be demanding significant evidence from 2018 or before.

And you might want to count those names. Just one or two examples from 2016 or so won't be enough.

Or, these challenged posters can agree the evidence backs my assertion.

"Could those challenged posters pick another option? Such as, these people aren't mimicking Trump but someone else?"

I mean, good luck with that. Without evidence to defend that assertion, they will be treated as admission it is Trump's fault, and also admission they are cowards for failing to admit that. But if they can back their claims, I will of course read what they have to write.

I, unlike the Party of Trump apparently, am willing to admit when I'm beaten fairly.

Dr. Oz continues to gift more gaffes to Fetterman.

Dr. Oz failed to report his ownership of a Garden State apartment [complex], home to friends tied to groups involved in Armenian genocide denial.

To Fetterman's credit, he's putting in the work to attract median voters. Putting more distance between himself and Bernie.

Woo hoo! The Senate finally passed the CHIPS Act.
When I talk about making more sh*t in America, microchips are a great example.
The CHIPS act will give a big boost to our domestic microchip industry + create a lot of good-paying jobs right here in PA.

Is Bernie the worst Budget Chairman ever? He did the same thing as he did in 2016. He had no hope of winning but he took the opportunity anyways to throw a tantrum and smear Dems as corrupt, poisoning the minds of his followers. It's just destructive to the progressive movement.

I guess this can go here because it's conveniently lining up with the approaching Midterms: Andrew Yang and a bunch of 'Former Republicans' launch a shiny new Third Party with no clearly defined policy positions - as of yet.

The entire article describing the party more or less reads like a bunch of 'Both sides' centrist nothing, and given Andrew Yang's history it just feels like he concocted a plan with a bunch of 'Former' Republicans to run spoiler candidates against Dems in the upcoming elections.

A cynical, but plausible take for spoilers.

If Democrats won’t bail out my crypto losses, then I have no choice but to join the Forward Party.

Like, don't get me wrong, we're in dire need of more than the two dipshit parties we have now when the choices are 'Violently Shameless Christian Nationalists' and 'The other guys who do the bare minimum to be marginally better than the actual violent facists'. But the Forward Party looks like a scam made to spite dems and/or indirectly promote republicans. Watch them only field candidates in vulnerable swing states.

I know people hate it when DEm clear the field! /s But forming a consensus is a normal thing for political groups.

A number of candidates have dropped out of the primary to endorse Mandela Barnes. In the Wisconsin primary to challenge for Ron Johnson's senate seat.

Johnson is one of the most vulnerable seats dems can flip but it's likely going to come down to how good the democrats are at organizing registration and transportation for voters in Madison and Milwaukee.

At least getting people who -want- to vote out to vote is one of the things that Dems - or at least folks Organizing for Dems - are pretty good at.

LOL. It's going to come down to how many voting locations Republicans fail to close in Milwaukee and Madison before the primary.

Source: Am from Wisconsin and am sick and tired of the fact it's easy as fuck to vote in a Republican area but much longer and more difficult to vote if you live in a poor neighborhood.

I live in the burbs in the southeast. If you live in the low-income neighborhood of my town, it's like a 1-2 hour wait to vote. The line for their wards is always out the door. Meanwhile, I live in a house outside the low-income area and it takes me 5 minutes to vote and I never have more than 3 people in my line.

It kind of pisses me off to see it.

Well, I see Trump and his whole nonsense of "I WILL NOT CONCEDE!!!" is spreading like it means anything. I swear, they complain about participation trophies for kids but here they want said trophy.

Insurrectionist GOP candidate refuses to concede Michigan primary loss -- despite finishing distant fourth

An insurrectionist Republican gubernatorial candidate is refusing to concede his primary loss despite finishing in fourth place.

Ryan Kelley, who was indicted on federal misdemeanor charges for his involvement in the Jan. 6 riot, finished more than 25 points behind GOP primary winner Tudor Dixon, but he called for a recount in a post echoing election fraud claims made by Donald Trump, reported WNEM-TV.

“Looks like the 'testing' was not testing after all, and it was a release of their preferred and predetermined outcome," Kelley posted on Facebook, suggesting that tampering with voting machines had cost him the election. "NOT CONCEDING! Let’s see the GOP and the predetermined winner call for a publicly supervised hand recount to uphold election integrity.”

Dixon unofficially won more than 40 percent of the vote, while Kelley drew a little more than 15 percent and finished fourth in the five-way primary.

Kelly offered no proof for his conspiracy theories, but he has been posting unscientific poll results taken from Truth Social users to claim he was far ahead in pre-election surveys.

63-37 against Kansas Constitutional amendment to remove abortion rights. This is a fantastic sign for the General Election. The House is still going to be too close for comfort though.
