If their perspective is objectively verifiable and stands up to scrutiny, there would be no need to subsume ourselves in a mess of propaganda to "get it".

Just dropping by to remind you guys that a fetus is a human being with a right to life and not a carrot or a Mercedes Benz. No one has the right to murder and there are a plethora of alternatives to abortion. A non perfect system is better than a zero chance at life.

That word right there is the complete problem with your argument. If a fetus absorbs another in the womb, by your definition, the fetus has committed a murder, and therefore when it is born you should want it tried for manslaughter.

Problem is, even though you think a fetus is human, you have given this human the okay to kill in your mind and don't find the killed fetus a human to weep for.

Truly, considering his stance has been "it's not the baby's fault" so why make it suffer for the sins of the father? The baby is still technically innocent in this situation so his reasoning lacks consistency. Don't get me wrong, rape is a damn good reason to redraw his personal line as it's a horribly traumatic experience, so I've no problems with that. But we've already established it's not really about the baby, since he's okay with killing an innocent one in a circumstance he decided is appropriate. So I don't see why that line can't extend to a similar trauma of carrying a fetus for 9 months and having to care for an entire life when you don't want it. It's a hypothetical question I already know the answer to "she chose to have sex knowing what the consequences can be." Contraceptives fail all the time, and when you're talking 1% applied to a population of hundreds of millions, you're going to have quite a few unwanted pregnancies despite best efforts. The alternative is abstinence, and I don't find that to be a reasonable alternative.
