Most abortion for "convenience" are chemical abortions which is just an induced miscarriage. There is only "sucking" if the abortion doesn't take.

The abortion you are describing happens later in pregnancy often when the fetus has been determined non-viable or the mother's life is in danger.

A disproving of the principle? Yes. Any and all "exceptions" to any base principle prove, conclusively, that this principle is flawed and must be discarded. It's been disproven by the existence of that exception.

That's how principles work. The exception is a demonstration that the principle does not hold true. Therefore, it's false/incomplete and must be discarded.

Trying to hold the principle and the exception at the same time is willful cognitive dissonance, nothing more.
