that moment you realize that when you strip away any allied race that has a mention to an existing playable race in their name, and from the 2 that are left remove the one that has heavy lore ties to existing playable races. you are left with only 1 truly unique race....

    and that is Vulpera...
this furries race is the only unique addition since the previous furries race they added...
    so... yeah...

make of that what you will...

only one maybe 2 had nothing to do with legion or bfa's story.
Manari aka fel corrupted eredar - Argus
    Taunka - ur right
Vrykul - Stormheim (Legion) Drust (BFA)
    Gilgolbins - Nazjatar
Mechagnomes - Mechagon(Because there were fully mechanical gnomes)

We should have gotten broken instead of lightforged draenei (those should have been a customization option same with dark iron dwarves and highmountain tauren) and alliance should have gotten sethrak instead of mechagnomes

Snake bois, like we asked. There were multiple capped threads about it on the official forums.

My argument is that they SHOULD have been part of the Legion or BfA story. Going to Argus was the perfect opportunity for the Horde to recruit a splinter group of Manari, and the Army of the Light bringing in Alleria should have paved the way for Blood Elves to once again have a crisis of faith and split into fel-loving Blood Elves and light-loving High Elves. Drust are Vrykul, it would have been insanely easy to make those a major player on Kul Tiras (making Kul Tiran humans actually humans, instead of half-humans), and the entirety of Mechagon should have been inhabited by mimiron-styled full on robot gnomes, not half-assed ones. Taunka could have easily fit into Highmountain, just throw in some more snow. Gilgoblins are self-explanatory.

Titanforged or some titan themed race.

Nothing, Mechagnomes are the best race in the game - so nothing could have filled their mighty shoes.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Don't get me wrong, they would probably have a low player pop but they would at least give the alliance a tribal race (which is more unique than gnomes that love tech even more than current gnomes).
This; I've been waiting for Furbolgs since vanilla

You could have gotten actual Mechagnomes, with a myriad of different robotic parts to add to your character.
Instead you got a vertically challenged robocop figurine found in the bargain bin at your local convenience shop.

If lightforged are "like draenei, but fancier" then broken are "like draenei, but uglier."

I just think mechagnomes should have the option to customize individual limbs so you could, for example, have two non-mechanical legs and wear pants, or just mechanical feet and wear pants but not shoes, etc. That'd solve the "diaper" problem.

This Is actually what bothers me. While Horde got a race that is and feels unique, not just a cosmetic barber customization option and also look great. The Alliance got diaper bots that are a variant of the already least played race.

Even skinny humans would have been a better fit. Drust (vrykul), furlbogs (Darkshore related), Sethrak ( that actually feel different) ir like many suggested actual robots with a wider array of customization since transmog doesn't work on them on most gear.

Yeah, I'm really pissed off with mechanognomies, they're nasty and very dumb.
It's so annoying to be honest.

It's been said, but actual Mechagnomes, AKA the fully mechanical beings that the Titans created, like Mimiron and his subjects.

    I wanted mechagnomes

I would have gone in this direction myself. Full on mechagnomes instead of cyborg gnomes. Aside from that, I like the idea of giving each of the old races their own allied race. I just kind of wish they hadn't faction swapped the night elf and blood elf based ones, and had given us a worgen/undead ones before stopping the trend.

Mechagnomes should have went to the horde. Having them part of the alliance is redundant. Give the alliance the dumb fox people.

They should have been a quest unlockable extra barber customization like night warrior for gnomes. Right now they stand as the least played race and can't help feeling like that allied race slot could have been taken by literally anything more interesting.

What would you have liked to get instead of diaper bots?

Broken or vrykul come to my mind first.
I just wanted actual mechagnomes, the little robot guys we met in Northrend. They could have said Mimiron wanted a clearer picture of what was happening in the world and sent his guys out to get involved in things. They were the first thing I thought of when they announced allied races and I was quite disappointed when not only did we get mechagon gnomes instead but they even stole their name, it's almost completely out of the question now.

Mechagnomes wouldn't make sense on Horde unless it was the Titan creations and not the Mecha-conversion Gnomes that we got. As well, I don't mind Vulpera on Horde, they are basically the core of Horde belief.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

This kind of equity is one of the things that makes wow's story dull though. If horde and alliance are always even, no side truly loses or wins, and races have nothing that happens to them that exits the status quo, then the story becomes way too boring.
