Question about the new rules regarding raid sales for gold

Hey guys! Hope everyone here is well.

First, please don't make this a thread to voice strong opinions for or against gold-based in-game sales. I understand and respect both sides fully but for now they are a necessary evil to exist as a top 100 guild in the game currently. Lets save that debate for another time and place.

We understand the new rules -mostly-. We will only be advertising on our home server on main characters in guild who will be participating in the raids.

We know this is okay. But we have one concern. Two members of our guild swapped factions because they can raid with us now like that and they preferred specific races. Because Blizz decided against making guilds cross-faction, we're not entirely sure if its allowed for us to carry out our raid sales with them participating. They won't be advertising at all, but it still feels like a questionable grey area to us. We'd love more clarity from anyone who thinks they understand the new changes better than we do. Should we force them to swap back, or do people feel this isn't a concern?

Thanks for any help or feedback!

Only Blizzard can answer that question, anything else would be random speculation.

Why would it be a concern? Even if they are advertising it doesn't change anything as long as they follow the rules.

Just dont call it "guild XYZ boosts ..." but rather "raid team X/Y M boosts..." or "raiding community XYZ boosts..." if your concern is the guild being banned for boosting.

Honestly enforcement is random and sporadic given blizzards lazy ass way of moderation.

It's all automated so who knows.

Not playing anymore, but my gm basicaly makes a bunch of accounts to advertise,he gets banned eventualy, guild hasnt seen any other issue besides this

It also helps with people mass reporting, cuz we always had issues with buthurt ''comunities'' mad we were selling to cheap

Sounds like it should be entirely fine, especially if they're not advertising. But as lthers have said: Only Blizzard can provide certainty here.
This is a signature of an ailing giant, boundless in pride, wit and strength.
Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.

Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.
