The most difficult thing to do is accept that there is nothing wrong with things you don't like and accept that people can like things you don't.

On populated servers, GDKP's have effectively replaced regular pugs.

If you want to pug SWP on Gehennas (which is one the largest EU Servers), your options outside of GDKP's are extremely limited.
If you doubt that, join the Gehennas Discord and check the SWP channel, i'd say 2/3 advertisments (if not more) are in fact GDKP groups.

In other words, GDKP's aren't just a fringe phenomenon anymore, it is the de facto primary loot system for pugs on larger server, so "just don't join" becomes increasingly difficult as the amount of non GDKP keeps shrinking, especially in the TBC raiding enviroment where what class / spec you play can be absolutely a dealbreaker.

I dare to guess, from personal experience and no tangible proof what so ever so don't ask for it :P, that the current class crowd is less disperse that one thinks.

Ppl that play classic currently, play it to raid or pvp, or both. There's not much more drawing attention. Also the fact that the game is and was already developed itself is relevant.

True, that's where i play, you either raid with your guild or you gdkp. Finding a SR run is a struggle, they do exist on fixed schedules if you know them, but as you might imagine there are more candidates than slots, and because they are on a fixed schedule they lack the flexibility of the "what the heck im not doing anything and will just join this TK GDKP at 2 am".

Troll aside baiting people into infractions, as others noted - if raiding is not your cup of tea, then don't do it. /shrug

This thread didn't start out great and doesn't seem apt to go anywhere constructive. Closing this.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
