Yup, we don't want to ruin it.

Enough rebooting things and make new stuff instead. Farscape was great and still is. It doesn’t need to be rebooted and completely destroyed in the process like every reboot is.

    We don't need a reboot.

But a sequel/spin-off in the same universe could be good.
Fundamental civil rights are only "political" if you're trying to take them away from people.

Things need to be allowed to end!

this. Let things end. But there's a lot of lore there to mine. Do something else.

I'm for a spin-off sure, but a reboot? Please no.

Every time i see that J. Michael Stracynzki is going to "reboot" Babylon 5.. i feel this in my bones.

Like... that series was only good because of when and how it was developed (constantly being on the edge of cancellation concentrated the writing, etc) and the people that were in it.

    You cant just recreate that.

Fuck this obsession with reboots redos requels and other things starting with re-.

It was a fantastic show, it ended, it's still a classic.

    NOW MAKE SOMETHING NEW.

I fully agree with this. Making new things rather than recycling the old.

Oddly enough, I just finished a rewatch a few days ago. I reckon it still holds up as is, so probably wouldn't care about a reboot.

Gimme a buddy cop show of 2 Peacekeepers going around doing their business instead lol

I am picturing a Farscape reboot with zero puppets, just some cheap CGI-creatures...

    No Thanks.

    No Thanks.
That’s exactly what would happen. The budget for puppets is non-existent now. Look at the Dark Crystal series. All those puppets wasted after being axed.

Rebooting something just shows lack of creativity. No way could someone play each one of those characters the same way to make it better

Modern sci-fi writers are garbage though - so it has a 95%+ chance of being disgraceful.

No, they would 100 percent ruin it.

No more reboots. Remasters, sure. I don't mind a nice remaster, especially if it's hard to get the old show in a decent way. But no, no more pointless reboots of things that are still perfectly good.

We got one when the main cast went to SG 1
