you may as well ask why Diablo doesn't join the Burning Legion and why the Zerg don't join the Horde
hell, while you're at it why not ask why Mickey Mouse doesn't join The Avengers in a fight against Darth Vader

She's not in the Warcraft franchise. Your point is moot.

It is an iconic Li-Ming ability:
    Because it’s based on this;

A Warcraft character, not a Diablo character.

The last one would be possible in the Kingdom Hearts series considering Disney owns all those franchises.

This doesn't even touch the abilities that mage has that wizard doesn't.
    Potential future Mage abilities.
You know all of thesw qualify as Mage abilities, right? Frost, Fire and Arcane.

I mean had it been given to mages one could ask why it is not a warlock spell; it's pure destructivity, perfect for the warlock.
Because it is an Arcane spell.

    She doesn't have to.
Blizzard has never taken inspiration from their other IPs?

    Got more than a picture?
An actual ability description of a Dragon?

Except Fire, Frost, and Arcane are not strictly mage related. Mages aren't even the only class in the game that use those damage archetypes. Destruction Warlock uses a lot of fire spells, but they aren't a mage. Death Knights use a lot of frost abilities, but they aren't a mage. Balance druid uses a lot of arcane abilities and yet they are not mages.

Blizzard has more creativity than you to the point where they don't need to copy the Diablo wizard over into WoW.

Your link is also a useless point, Li-ming isn't a mage. Mages and wizards within diablo are distinctly different

    Why stop at Li-Ming?
Why not use all matters abilities from all games throughout time? I mean they are all mages...

    What even is this?

They never named the ability until now, but the ability is based on blue dragon breath, which is spellfrost based.

You've got to be kidding... you're talking Fel, Death and Lunar. Her spells are strictly Mage in nature.

Channel a beam of pure energy, dealing 390% weapon damage as Arcane.

Disintegrate damage is increased by 250% weapon damage every second, up to a maximum total of 890% weapon damage as Arcane.

So you really don’t have a point to this thread. Noted.

You say Blizzard takes from their other IP’s. You’ve answered your own question.

Next time ask Blizzard if you care so much.

Disintegrate is also a sorcerer spell that can be used by Dragonic bloodline Sorcerers in DnD 5e.

Dracthyr are pretty conceptually similar to Dragonic bloodline Sorcerers.

So it makes perfect sense they'd get disintegrate...

See I can justify it by using other franchises....

Is that how it's going to be from now on? The Evoker is going to scavenge from the Mage?

Can't scavenge something if they never had it in the first place.

Because Wizards, Mages and Evokers don't exist in real life and game designers can make them be whatever they want them to be, and they decided they want them to have different skills and powers, some are similar, some overlap and some are original only to that given class.

If you don't like this, you are free to create your own fictional world where mages use spell desintegrate or whatever, if that's so important to you.

WoW is a game and each class has a limited amount of spells they have access to for balance, saying why do you not have x spell is the same as why do you not have 100 other spells, thats just basic logic.
