Huge improvement. I'm assuming this is a specific Hogger model? they need to update the face/head/posture of the other Gnolls now to bring them more in line with this model.

Hoggers' looking pretty great now. They really need to bring all the other Gnoll models up to match them. The face/head/posture/mane need to be the standard for Gnolls.

Good gravy, those models are so cartoonish and ridiculous looking, especially the faces. Doubly so the eyes. Going with a brown tone just emphasizes how hideous (and not in the right way) it is all the more. Adding more polygons doesn't mean you have to make the art itself look so... just... whatever that is, as they've been doing for the last handful of expansions.

Although I know it probably won't, I really hope Microsoft is able to save the game rather than letting the lunatic developers and art directors continue to butcher their own game with every passing year.

2 weeks would not be enough time for an artist to do a model for an irrelevant meme npc and get it approved and added into the game when they've got the entire rest of the expansion to still work on. It was almost certainly not a response to feedback.

The 1st model has nothing to do with Hogger specifically, it's used by many random gnoll npcs in both the old zones and the new ones. There's no random young Hogger flashbacks or story component to it, it's just a visual update of regular gnolls which he used as a placeholder.

The snarl and teeth size is very noticeably different. Which was really one of the primary complaints with the new model. The fur looks like it was re-textured to look a little more mangy. Looks like they also shorten the snout some. Its definitely not just a recolor.
