I'm 99% sure that no one knows how many Gnolls were displaced in WoW after Stormwind increased the cost of living. Additionally, the Gnolls could live in trees over on Teldrassil, but how can they afford buying a tree-hut after being displaced, and how do they get there? Azeroth has plenty of space, but do they even want to leave Elwyn? Nope. It drove hogger so mad he turned into a Disney character.

Folks went absolutely mad for the 'Tigons', their internal filename, back in the day. Look up some of the older 'what races should be playable?' and Tigons make a regular appearance. Like, I vaguely think back in TBC times before Draenei were revealed, Tigons were one of those 'these are totally the Alliance race' things

It doesn't matter, because Hogger and Meatball look exactly the same, and they can just use this model on Hogger because they're gonna update all the old Gnolls in Elwynn anyway.
