Compared to like 3 years ago, it seems to be extremely slow.

There are class subforums where no one posts for days at a time. The funny pictures and videos megathread is pretty much dead, and the only lively subforum is the politics one, where of course 99% of posters are leftwingers and anyone dissenting is banned sooner and later for whatever reason, which contributes to the echochamber effect that is that subforum.

Might as well change the name of the site to Political Leftwing Champion, and delete every forum except Politics, since very few people seem to be interested in anything else on this website, so may as well save costs.

I don't know if revenues are flowing from the website but there is activity on the forums. If there isn't in the categories that interest you then push for more. But the way that you describe your political interests is not very appealing

This is only true if you are under the assumption that Conservative/Republican/Rightwing=terrible people.

Eh... Do you have most people on ignore, or? This is one of the more active WoW fansites, of course, not as active as WoWhead, but still. And if you find a lack of contribution, then you are welcome to make your own within what topic you wish to discuss.

And your last comment about the other sections of the site, no, you are wrong. Those sections are side subjects people wish to discuss, it is not the main priority of this website. If you do not like what is going on there, don't go then there?

When interest in WoW dies the site will follow suit. There are also other places like Reddit and the official forums that most go to.

WoW and it's surrounding media are far from dead but it's no secret that activity and hype for DF and content around it are lower than for previous expansions.

Class discussion, and indeed online gaming chat in general, has mostly moved to Discord. Forums are somewhat of a relic at this point.

Also the site is remarkably diverse politically. I've seen people from both ends of the spectrum complain that it's too far in the opposite direction fairly often. There's a degree of confirmation bias there I think. When you see an opinion you agree with, you don't register it as an event, but when you see one which you don't agree with, it sets off something in your brain which lodges it as a memory.

Yeah the newest owners aren't letting the race/religion/nation baiting nuts use the site as a grooming station like they used to. Good riddance.
