[TV] Brassic

I found this about a week ago and it is brilliant.

its a dark comedy that reminds me a little of 'hustle' from years ago.

It is set more or less in the same area im from which i think is why the name pulled me in, brassic means you have no money eg.g 'you fancy going out to eat on friday?' 'no im brassic'

over 80% on rotten tomatoes and imdb also, i really recommend t

I watched S1 last year and loved it. Still need to sit and watch S2.

I reckon it is pretty damn British, so I dunno how well it'd translate for a lot of people not used to certain things, though.

Season 2 isnt as good but still better than most things i have watched recently

i hadnt thought about the too british thing but you are probably right, id still recommend everyone give it a try though

there is also a third season this year (i imagine covid dependant)

I highly recommend it, i was in stitches for the third series starter and am considering watching the first two again (i only found it earlier this year, late last year max)

im not sure of most of the people you are talking about are, needed to google Joel and Michelle Keegan but yeah thats her haha.

Joel is Stylax in Plebs.
He's also in the new Cruella.
Give it a shot if you like absurd comedy.
They play a "paper shredder" (literally ripping paper by hand)and a "copier" (lol copying with quill)in a Rome office setting but deal with ridiculous roman themes like orgies etc.
Grumio is the stupid housemate of them both lol.
Oh and Tom Basden is in it who plays the "water cooler" where he stands with a jug all day in the office lol.
He's in After Life currently and is also really funny.
It's a good team.

It's funny to see lots of them together outside of that so thank you!

3rd series was good, the stuff they do felt a little darker but maybe i just hadnt noticed before, quotes of the season came in one scene -

'im not bartering with a cheese thief'
'im not a cheese thief'
'whats that?'
'Cheese'
'where did you get it?'
' i stole it, look i get where your coming from'

and

'ill give you a hundred and thirty for it'
'no a hundred and fifty'
'one two nine'
'whats that?'
'a hundred and twenty nine'
'just say that then you know im bad with numbers'

I can't recommend this enough.
