Yes, classic is "free" as long as you pay $15 sub.
Classic is more grind than the retail, so if you don't mind grind.

I still try to decide play WotLk or not.
WotLk leveling takes a long time compare to the recent WoW expansions.

I have spent 2 hours so far, and isn't done yet. And there have been no competition for mobs to kill.

Biggest RNG's is the last event depending how fast you can get it started and finished, when i was "ready" for it it had 1 min left untill start and we were like 30 dk's slaughtering it

I can upload and link you footage of me doing it in an hour, not even trying really, had to get footage of it a few times, and got it in an hour multiple times, even with doing stuff sub-optimally.
