Why not remove levels at all? It seems pointless.

Come on now. One of the biggest complaints WoW gets is that it doesn't feel like enough of an RPG. Removing levels is the opposite of what they should be doing.

And what to do instead? Paragon levels? That's the moment I'm out forever.

If it comes as digital epic edition (highest price tag) feature, sure.

Why must we do levels? They are meaningless. We got gear progression. That is your real level. Your ilvl is your character level.

No. I would buy 10 of them for all my alts!

lvling phase of a new expac is always the honey moon of a new expac

ON TOPIC: Of course I wouldn't buy one on day 1 and I feel very bad for anybody who would. The point of a video game is to play it and experience it, hopefully while enjoying your time spent on it in the process. People (usually) only buy leveling boosts because it is NOT their first time leveling and they do not want to redo all the content they have already completed countless times before.

If you buy a level boost on day 1 you just don't enjoy the game you are playing yet are shilling out even more money to it. Sad.

I am an alt addict so I already have all my characters on max by now.

Nothing "sad" about it. You like 1 minor aspect of the game, I do not enjoy that trivial aspect. All my enjoyment comes from Max level activities. I'm cheap so I wouldn't pay $60 for aboost, but I would gladly pay 100K gold (aka fake money) for a max level boost while I afk. Though with the way the game is currently designed, I'd still have to do the stupid quest to unlock all the good parts. But at least now I only have to do it once, so I do it even though I don't care for it.

I 100% get that leveling can feel tedious for alts, but I always enjoy leveling the first time (or 2!) around. And with the delayed start of the seasonal stuff these days, I don’t feel any impetus to do anything beyond tracking down every quest I can find - even if that slows down my leveling.

So I wouldn’t consider buying such a thing and would be disappointed if they offered it.

Because that is totally the same.

How about you tell us what use they have? What are they needed for? You can still quest without them. You can still have new abilities without them. So, why are they needed? They are just a barrier to new players jumping into the end-game.

Wonder how many players still would play if there was no new leveling content. In the end, most players level only in new expacs. Just to unsub again.
I didn't say the content shouldn't be there. Just the number is pointless. The questing definitely should stay but the number is just a random number barrier to the end game.
Meh... whatever. But it would allow people to enjoy questing at their pace without having to rush it to get to end game.

Only takes like 2 days to go from level 1 to 70 lol n that's if you take your time.

You can get 15 characters boosted to 70 for the same price as Blizzard wants you to pay for 1 character-boost.
This is by getting invited and summoned by a pair of max level-toons that grind for you and you pay them either by gold or RMT.
Takes around 3-4 hours, you just need to make sure some way to stop your character from getting logged out.

Personally I don't care about the lore at all, only about the combat mechanics at max level. Technically it's also not pay to win since you only skip the levelling part.

Curious about how others feel about this.
Personally I wish they would work at making leveling more entertaining in its own right. They have done some good stuff! e.g. Suramar! But later they dumb that stuff down to cater to those who want it over fast as possible. SO... I would not buy the skip for myself, but might support a two-track system where leveling is reserved for those who actually enjoy it, and spruced up to be more engaging on its own.

    Yes I absolutely would.
