I would feel much more confident with a Jan 3 or Jan 10 release.

Why? The Game is feature complete and the talent trees are sadly fixated as well. Priest is a shitshow, but that's every time so, since the dev either run away while developing it or is simply incompetent; but that's sadly always the case. So why?

Just for the sake of: delaying = better? Also there is no chance in hell for a release on the holiday season. jan 3 or 10 is very unlikely. First window would be at earliest on the 17th, but that's also short before february is, and since developers seems all to be keen to release every game that ever existed on february next year, blizz would be stupid to have this kind of window.

Its going to be. They did it for wrath and the last few expansions and last few classics. No reason to think this release will be any different.

Theirs literally no systens in DF. Not 1. Nothing is rushed. Every major feature is ready to launch. All they are doing is tuning, which does not take 5 months.

Yes, there is not an ABSOLUTE metric ton to do, but thats the thing, there is nothing really REQUIRED like we have had since legion, so you can do what you want, ignore the rest. a return to the vanilla to wod days.

It was fine, more or less?

I think the jaunty camera movement was meant to play into the momentum of dragonriding. And they definitely went hard on that aspect of it... but I'd rather a promo reel of zones and the new animations, races, and such than anything that spoils too much of the story.

When I pre-ordered mine, it definitely immediately charged. Yeah wasn't too happy with $200+ (two copies, one for me one for my wife) hitting right away with nothing to show for it...
