You obviously didn't pay attention to the starting zone. There are multiple dracthyr in the starting zone that are not evokers and instead have more martial roles not to mention the amount of npcs that place emphasis on how amazing it is that you are an evoker.

This. It's made very clear that evokers are the minority when it comes to Dracthyr, and that they're the best of the best that the Dracthyr have to offer. Some NPCs even mention that they were unable to complete evoker training and are jealous of the player. I think it's cool that they can only be evokers, but I really think that's just a temporary thing for Dragonflight, and that they'll be able to be other classes in future expansions.

The easy way out literally would have been just given them every race but with a set of horns on their head as an option for all the not-already horned races.
this was the harder way, but a way that made even the visage form unique, instead of "oh hey its a dwarf... but with horns!"

That would have been far better than the elf garbage that was paraded around purely to market at fools like Varodoc.

Visage was, is, and always will be an awful mistake that only exists as a cheap excuse to not do transmog support. Least they could do is not make them absolute garbage by choosing the worst possible way to implement them. But they did.

Instead of asking Blizzard to change them you could ask for additional bodies. Some of us waited fucklong to get playable draconic race and Drakonids were always at the front of the discussion. Blizzard decided to fuck us over and released famelic gecko cunts. Most of this discussion wouldn't have place if Blizzard made both Shitthyr and Drakonids playable.
