Ah yes, Blizzard totally paid, 5 months ago, for a Netflix Stranger Things S4 interview to include a question about World of Warcraft so that David Harbour could lie about having played the game in 2005 so that a commercial 5 months later would have evidence in case someone suspected that an actor in the commercial hadn't played the game.

Did you think at all before you typed that or just vomit on your keyboard?

Why do you assume so much? Makes you look stupid

Video games are becoming increasingly fashionable; so agents have actors pretend to be nerds to make them more marketable - it's fairly obvious

Take someone like Tom Holland - one of the most successful actors currently - do people seriously believes he's the bumbling moron he portrays? Obviously it is but that makes thirst accounts on instagram and twitter endlessly post him being dumb and thus he gets more exposure

Even then; lets say Harbour actually does play WoW - the other two don't - and that doesn't change the fact it is an absolute moronic waste of money from a company that has far more important things to be spending on right now

It's almost as if acting in commercials is a job. Do you expect a dude in a cereal ad to only eat oreven know the brand he holds into the camera?
