I specified BIG tokens. I was thinking of Zandalari rares in MoP after all and I think those were 500 rep tokens?

We most definitely don't all know that.

I guess if you want to farm big rares with long respawn timers rather than flying around, digging up artifacts then sure.
I get that it's a big bit of rep, but I fail to see how it's massively different from the massive sources of easy rep we have now. Weekly quest for one, giving 500 rep to all factions, and each of those potentially being a BoA rep token.
The world revamp dream will never die!

That's something only you know actually, no one else shares this knowledge of yours.

...Are there any characters who aren't low-key "mighty whitey"?
I mean only Talanji comes fo mind, and even then she's pretty clearly a "whitey" version of what a nonwhite queen would/should be.
I mean even the space goats are Russian.
This is a signature of an ailing giant, boundless in pride, wit and strength.
Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.

Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.

Is there anything wrong with that trope in the first place?

Actually yes. This is an outdated and highly problematic trope. You can google it. Not to mention, most players are already tired of seeing toxic white men in leadership positions. I'd rather have the Alliance run by someone other than another white man. That's why I wouldn't mind Turalyon to bite the dust.

Tbh I'm already tired of white men (and just men, no matter what skin color) being pushed as useless and bad.

Yet people loved Daenerys Targaryen, who is literally a walking embodiment of this trope:

Doesn't seem like a problematic trope to me at all, since Daenerys was a fan-favourite.

This is all in your head.

Secondly, Turalyon isn't toxic, no matter how much you try to push your headcanon that he's a zealot, headcanon that is not supported by anything in the source material.

I'd rather have the Alliance run by someone other than another white man.
Oh okay so let's NOT give the position to a man like Turalyon who has already proven himself qualified to lead times and times again, because he's a white man. Sound logic, screw qualifications and competences, what matters is the colour of his skin.

That's why I wouldn't mind Turalyon to bite the dust.
Oh okay so Turalyon deserves to die for the crime of being born a white man. That makes sense.

So not really a good comparison; pokemon makes no comparable attempts at dictating how and at what pace you advance the story, nor how you would go about overcoming the challenges it sets before you.
Well yeah. If you want to rush the elite four, you rush the grind of your one master pokemon.
If you want to rush that chapter of DF story, you rush the rep grind.

It's not a SL case where you had to wait for the weekly chapter. It's closer to the nightborne questline where you had to grind the rep for the next chapters.

Funny you mentioned her. Do I need to remind you what happened to her at the end? Daenerys' story was a cautionary tale. And that's exactly what Turalyon will get in the tyranny of the Light expac.

Torturing civilians and harassing dracthyr isn't toxic? Got it.

    Irrelevant.

Do I need to remind you what was the fandom's reaction to Daenerys as a character and to her fate?

You say that this trope is problematic, but this is only in your head. In reality, no one gave a shit about Daenerys being a white woman leading a bunch of black people and being worshipped as a messiah by them. People looked at that scene and said "yass slayyy kween", not "ew this is so racist".

It's just you who is obsessed with all this race stuff really.

And guess what, if Turalyon dies, Anduin is just going to come back on the throne, Anduin also being a white cis man who actually approved and excused Turalyon's actions in the novel and would also fall under the definition of "toxic" according to you.

So you're not actually accomplishing anything by asking for Turalyon to die.

    Torturing civilians
Brain-washing civilians with sorcery is also torture yet I'm not seeing you ask for Lor'themar's head despite him condoning the public brain-wash of dissidents in TBC.

    harassing dracthyr isn't toxic
Telling the Spymaster to do his job is not harassing anyone and Turalyon could have just closed the gates and told the scalies to fuck off.

Should he just invite a totally new and strange race of being into the city he's protecting? Especially when they arrive together with another elemental and dragon unrest?

Well, there are those that unironically use the term and they definitely have some problems relating to this trope, but with the trope itself there is nothing wrong no.

Honestly i often feel like the antiracism types are caricatural versions of people that never heard of how the "White man's burden" trope was used to fuel racism in the past, and does so again in this new "woke" form in the present.

    But enough of that.

    Yikes.

Something problematic does not become any less so just because it's popular. Honestly, it's more horrific when it's popular.

People did point out how Daenerys the white savior was problematic back then as well though. Especially among those who figured out that Dany was headed for the villain spot. Seemed like it was intentional to make you think Dany was out of her element, and coasting on her dragons.

Yet she is one of the most popular TV characters ever in history. To the point that many people literally name their daughters "Khaleesi" (normies don't know that this isn't her actual name, also this aged terribly of course).

Strange how this trope is supposedly "problematic", yet a character who embodies this trope is so popular and beloved.

The funny thing is that Turalyon doesn't even fit this trope at all, since the Army of the Light, which he leads, is not a Draenei organization; it is a multi-racial organization of many forces (not just draenei) that follow the Naaru against the Legion. And he is Regent of Stormwind, which is a human kingdom and was the closest kingdom to Lordaeron (Stormwind and Lordaeron were even called "sister kingdoms").

So there is absolutely nothing wrong with Turalyon being High Exarch of Army of the Light and Regent of Stormwind.

So Turalyon doesn't fit this trope at all.

She did have in part some bad things happened to her so she wasn't just this holy righteous person(Her brother was an asshole). Either way Identity politics sucks and its really just virtue signalling nonsense that I rather not deal with.

Bill Cosby is still popular and beloved. Doesn't make him any less problematic.
