Is there any evidence this actually is as old as it claims (remember, we just had someone post the old expansion list hoax)? Like references to it from back then or an actual link to the forum(?) that can be verified with waybackmachine? Originally Posted by LalaGamer

I think the strength of an Elemental expansion is that if it's done well we can get a bit of everything. It can be less about singular themes and more about the world reacting to something being unbalanced. You could even, in theory, tie in Wild God and Loa. Originally Posted by Kiriastrasza
I think an Elemental expansion where we do a tour of the elemental planes would definitely suck, but one where we go through Azeroth putting out and adapting to a new surge in activity could be a good thing.
Especially if we want to hold with next expansion having an Orc/Thrall focus. The idea of establishing a new Council of Elementals and helping to keep things in harmony is something that would be a prime position for them considering Dreanor.
It also does something that I think has been narratively missing, and gives the Earthen Ring an active role to mirror the Cenarion Circle.

Why would there be AI upscaling, but not acutally using the new good assets? That just sounds completely backwards to me. The models would still be updated, they just wouldnt look as good. Originally Posted by Lazarel

That's just... Stormwind Prison? You mean Stockades? Why would they have Stockades AND a prison? Why would the Ruins of Lordaeron be a Dungeon, when they are part of the Undercity? Borrow Deeps?
