Uh “Squally” relates to the word “Squall” which is a gust of wind or a localized storm.

Lil Maggz is almost certainly Magni, given that we’re dealing with Dwarven themes with the encrypted mount.

We also have multiple references to stormriding which is elemental in nature.

Then we have Survey Bot and SAFE which is Gnome stuff that originated in Cataclysm.

Fyrn is really the only wild card there.

I do have a possible theory, but... I'm not fully confident in it.

What if the Smolderon in DF isn't the same one as we knew from back in Legion... I don't mean like its someone pretending to be Smolderon, I mean this Smolderon after being hit with a factory reset button.
Where the Cult of Ragnaros killed him resulting in his sudden disappearance.. but he returned in a much younger form but has no memories of meeting with the Farseer. All he knows is that he's the new Firelord now and has to do what he can to benefit the Firelands.

And from the beginning of wow of course, because everyone who played Warcraft knows that the technical class exists and was well embedded in Lore.

I guarantee you that if Blizz came out with a e.g. void-shadow expansion and offered tinkers as a class - they would hit the biggest jackpot in the history of the entire Warcraft universe.

    Squally, I'll give you.

Lil Maggz being Magni is a reach. If anything, would it not be Lil Magz? His name is Magni, not Maggni.

Stormriding is not necessarily Elemental in nature. Dwarven Gryphon Riders are inherently Elemental, I suppose, but they've always used Stormhammers to attack. In fact, people riding Gryphons are called Windriders. So there being a reference to "Stormriding" does not mean that it's an "Elemental" expansion, which nothing other than one pet is hinting at, but a Dwarven expansion, which the mount, the location, the Gryphon Rider transmog that were added and much more hint at.

I mean, Avaloren is not necessarily hostile inhabitants. Odyn describes them as heretics because they are against the Titans/KEepers, but depending on how the expansion ends, we might be antagonistic to Odyn/the Titans as well.

I just don't see Vyranoth becoming an Aspect without us antagonizing the Titans in some way.

Elementals! You know, those elementals that are everywhere already. No matter where we were, there was at least one quest where we killed some elementals.

No way the expansion main theme will be "elementals"
    Never ever. I'm sorry @Teriz
I think there's a contradiction in your post.

I would honestly prefer to give vyranoth on a silver plate to titans than going against them, maybe besides Odyn.
Odyn could use some kick in the nuts.

Sadly(for me) the path they choose for Vyranoth, will end up with us following her like a puppet now.

    Just FYI, it's entirely possible that the heroic mount for the expansion looks something like this;

That NPC is called Stormrider, and it is located in the Storm Peaks near Ulduar. So it is entirely possible that the Algerian Stormrider is actually an elemental.

    Also it resembles this elemental mount used to talk about more surprises coming at BlizzCon 2023;

    Just saying....

honestly after evokers, blizzard can add any class, tinkers wouldn't even be that strange of a choice

My point: Whatever it is, it's safe now to assume that Avaloren and the mysterious place the Nightsquall is after are on the other side of Azeroth, and if so, paired with the achievement leaks, it is also safe to assume that Khaz Algar (Hence the next Expansion) will not be on the other side of Azeroth!!

I really hope they release that damn Blizzcon bundle soon, so we can finally end this circlejerk.

Sure, but that's the Blizzcon Mount and not the Heroic Edition mount.

It's also clearly an Ice Elemental.

No, I'm saying that the Heroic Edition mount is called the Algarian Stormrider, and there are elementals that live around Ulduar that are also called Stormriders.

My point is that the BlizzCon advertisement using an elemental mount is probably a hint to the theme of the next expansion, as I predicted a few days ago. It is entirely possible that the BlizzCon mount is ALSO an elemental like the Heroic Edition Mount. The difference being that the heroic edition mount is an elemental mount that can fly.

Or Blizzcon gives a Blizzard elemental because it's called Blizzard elemental, not because it's a Blizzard elemental.
The world revamp dream will never die!

Well it's not going to be released until BlizzCon, so we got over a month to go.

That said, I do believe that given the leaked information about the mount and pets, it's safe to say that a void vs. light expansion is effectively dead. The next expansion is going to heavily involve the elements.

Also it's looking like that Chinese leaker is going to remain at 100% accuracy.

My man, just stop reaching. The Algarian Stormrider, which is the Heroic Edition mount, is gonna be a Gryphon.

The Blizzcon Mount, which is the Frost Elemental, is 1.) not a Stormrider from Ulduar and 2.) Blizzcon mounts are NEVER relevant to any expansion.

Queue you saying it's gonna be an Elemental expansion because it mentions "Storm", completely ignoring the fact that Gryphon Riders have always had that ability and completely missing the forest for the trees.

Possible. However again there's a high possibility that the heroic mount for the expansion is ALSO an elemental.
