So of all these problems in 2020/2021 with Blizzard and their products/services, the "story" being bad is the least actionable to tackle. "We need to redo the entire history of wow" is the only reaction that Blizzard could take, that would, from a business perspective, be completely insane.

i think some overestimate how much people care/d about the lawsuit. if you ask around what made shadowlands bad, most will probably tell you 2 things: 1) chores; 2) lore ruined. while the former can be "easily" fixed, we can't say the same for the latter. Now, should blizzard reset the whole game to fix the issues caused by shadowlands? probably not. though we can't the deny the appeal a "clean" wow has.

P.s the aggressive promotional campaign for ffxiv was mostly made by people like asmongold, bellular and rich to shit on wow lmao

I believe Frostwing is the anniversary pet this year. It looks like the Deathwing pet but blue. There's also a frost version of the Obsidian Destroyer datamined as well.
