I think they will use the Rumble event as a time to discuss next expansion details with certain people. No reason they wouldn't use the time to not go over it.

You are confusing expac reveal with Alpha, Beta or major PTR when they record stuff like interviews and F&F testing. There is 0 reason to utter a word about next expansion to content creator.

First, this is still no thread for classic+, but retail. Secondly, classic+ as some people want it here will never happen and that's good - classic is NOT SUPPOSED to have new lore / any content besides lower versions of retail mounts or seasonal game modes.

They will still keep a vanilla classic server but they 100% should do classic plus. If you dont like it, ignore it and dont play it.

I'll be the one to go out on a limb and say its real. Like... they even used the Netflix brand font for the netflix text and the WoW font for "chronicles". Most of the leaks you see don't have that kind of attention to detail. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

The small crop on the shoulder can let a piece of AI art get away with some flaws but even in the feathers, not seeing much to tell me its AI. Looks like it might be Medivh too, and they just had his set on the shop randomly all of a sudden.

I knew that WANTED poster I saw earlier with my face on it was abit suspicious. Thank god it was AI art and I am not actually a wanted criminal.

On a serious note, I think this is the last leak season where we can kinda see what is AI art, by the time 2025 rolls around and it's time for this again, AI will be too advanced. Gonna have an entire 4K cinematic leak all made up with AI, I am sure of it.

Also, classic+ would not kill retail. Retail is a seasonal game. Plus the sub for both is covered in one payment. People would potentially play classic+ as the main game and play a month or two seasonally. Sure it may reduce retail playerbase some, but most people are treating retail as a seasonal game now anyways. This would potentially increase sub numbers as people would have 2 games to play and may not ever unsub.

I think we can all agree that Ardenweald is the stand out zone of SL.

Depends on what metric you judge them on. Personally I found Maldraxxus to be the most interesting zone visually, even if it's difficult to live with for extended periods.
The idea of designing a zone like an RTS map worked out I found, not to mention it was probably the zone with the best integrated covenant rewards. None of the other teleportation networks can really hold a candle to the simple pleasure of the moving necropolis you could get to as a Necrolord.

IIRC Squally is explicitly a battle pet, and under the same encryption key as the Stormrider. Decent but defs not guaranteed chance of it being a mini version of it.

The achieve for the blizzcon mount wasn't in the API leak, but I wouldn't be surprised if that has something to do with the mount originally being intended for the canned blizzcon, and therefore the linked achieve being added in a different, non-dodgy tranche.

S.A.F.E is apparently the female gnome character from Rumble? Maybe we'll get a tiny gnome in a plane as a pet.

Lil Frostwing is the mini version of the blue deathwing mount we're getting for the 19th anniversary.

The web api achievement leak was very... partial. Not entirely sure why, but only things from 2 categories got spoiled and a whole bunch of other still encrypted achievements did not.

I would indeed say that Squally and the Algarian Stormrider are very much related to eachother, both by key and by name.
Same goes for the Fyrn pet and the unknown elemental mount, but by shared assets instead of key.

Based on all that and some more, personally leaning into towards a Dwarven / Elemental combo expansion. Less than a month until we find out.

The problem with Classic+, is as I have said many times before, that you would immediately raise the question of why the content isnt also available in Retail. Yes it might be trivially easy, but if its quality then why limit it to Classic? And for that matter, if it's quality, why not make it the expansion for Retail as well?

Honestly this is something I've wanted for a long time. Been on these forums long enough to know I'm not alone in that.

My perfect Rogue would be this 4 spec setup:

Assassin melee dps
Outlaw parry/dodge tank
Sub -> shadow ranger/dark ranger ranged dps
Bard healer

Now bard + outlaw changes might be far fetched, but they really need to allow bows/guns/crossbows to be usable by more classes so the items aren't wasted.

Not necessarily "Dark Ranger" in name... but if Hunters are getting a melee spec based off Rexxar... could we possibly see Sylvanas championing a new version of Subtlety that will make the spec a ranged shadow-based dps spec?
