It's been a while since I read the knaifu quotes from Legion, but iirc I think she hinted that her brethren basically consumed her, rather than the full on parasitic tick removal that Aman'thul did.

Pressing x to doubt here. I like that one, but I think it's more like it's one of the few viable 'leaks' remaining based on current information, rather than it looking real. It's been known for a while that getting to Avaloren was perilous, so it would be very easy to accidentally write a 'leak' that captures the whole 'storming sea' business.

I forgot which one was it, can you link it?

Also i know i already mentioned it but these 2 sky-captain coat sets sound more and more plausible for expansion bundle transmog or blizzcon goodies.

Towelliee said that we have to find another way to travel or something like that - so no by boats, but gryphons and sky ships, with gryphon storm riders on the sides, defending the sky ships + being navigators.

What is true in one realm isn't true in all
That would be okay for me, but what about the "sister" part? Soul Sisters?

    World Soul:
-Avaloren is the "Bermuda Triangle" of Azeroth.
-Each zone has a surface half and an underground half. Underground is not like Zaralek, there are many different biomes like Journey to the Center of the Earth.
-Player housing ONLY in Avaloren. Different professions make different furniture and decorations via work order system.
-Some classes get new support specs like Bard Rogue and Gladiator Warrior, which uses shouts and banners to "hype up the crowd (raid)."
-Pre-order bonus unlocks all classes for dracthyr in future patch (10.2.7) except DK and DH. They start in Exile's Reach.
-Undermine Dungeon with Gallywix is in the pre-expansion event.
-Besides Algar dwarves there's a human kingdom with similar origins.
-There's also a race of ant people called myrmid/myrmin (not sure of the spelling). There are good black ants we ally with and evil fire ants who are the first raid.

That's all I know. Can't say how for obvious reasons.
    Title remains a hmm factor.

Can someone make a gallery with all the book pages?

    Would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

To be honest, it sounds like something that blizzard would do.

Also it would be cool to kick Gallywix ass.

As suspected the dream is just titan ordered rather than created. I wouldn't be surprised at this point if the titans are the first ones and they just wiped their own minds to to become part of the balance.

Interesting information on Aman'thul plucking and possibly causing the fissure we believe to be related to Khaz'algar, and it's similarities to Y'shaaj. As someone else posted this could also just be a new 'truth' behind the well of eternity. Would be like the titans to blame the damage on an old god. Alas, I don't see them figuring out a suitable Y'shaaj retcon to make this true.

At this point a lifelands expansion is beyond years away if anything of that scale is put above patch content. The scars of shadowlands will be prominent for a long time, and absolutely nobody wants to come face to face with Elune or anything on a similar scale to find out they're just robots too. They need to spend a significant amount of time setting the tone correctly, and making sure the other cosmic realms aren't just 5 other flavours of shadowlands.

Shadowlands barely scraped the surface on what could of been, and what should of been, and should not be looked back upon fondly for what it brought to the story in my opinion. Cosmic storytelling can be done very well. We deserve a Bloodborne, not a shadowlands.

Everytime I look back at shadowlands it gets even funnier. We waltz through the sepulcher and ZM and it's like, hey, here's the factory where we make the eternal ones, here's the big sphere which makes all the after lives other than the 4 you can realistically get in this games format. Sorry we cancelled and re-wrote most of the expansion. Why does the Jailer activate a machine in the sepulcher then a cinematic plays of the Sanctum of Domination and Icecrown, nobody will notice right? We really were originally supposed to fight ice king jailer there most obviously.

I could even imagine the levels of speculation we'd all be having if they never did ZM and ended on Sanctum as planned. Never mentioned Jailer was a big robot, never hinted, and the end cinematic showed that and they never even commented on it, we'd all be going mad trying to work it out what on earth was going on. Instead it's just. Meh. Why would we go to the lifelands? Maybe Elune has a pact with Tyrande to overwhelme Azeroth with as much life as possible. Which in turn feeds the lifelands and Elune with spirit power. She needs the 3 sigils from the everliving ones to use Zereth Vitae in the finale raid the cradle to rewrite reality?? As I said, shadowlands scars live on. I think relegating the Zereth and cosmic zones to patch content is the right choice for the foreseeable.

While I would love Bard Rogue and Gladiator Warrior, imagine they crying from Teriz if they decide to add Undermine, but only as a Dungeon instead of a whole continent haha. Also, I somehow doubt that we would fight evil fire ants in the first raid after fighting evil fire druids in the last raid of Dragonflight.

Red Ants themed after AL Capone styles gangsters, complete with machine guns and suits.

    Lots of bullet ant puns

But the idea that the fissure is caused by Xal'atath's body as the 5th Old God, is something I've been arguing ad nausea for at least a couple of months now.

My overarching theory is that there's a narrative pattern, leading to the Hour of Twilight in 11.0, that's true. But the way we get there is with 'A Song of the Depths', Xal'atath, Azshara, and Iridikron. The thing being awakened is likely either Xal'atath, the world-soul, the Ancient One, or a Void Lord.

All the elemental stuff, which is still relevant, is basically filler to make it more interesting. Just "VOID" would be awful. They're bringing it over from Cataclysm, but it is logical to have in an expansion about the fundament of Azeroth, the Titans, the Old Gods, etc.
There's no need for that filler because any given location already has its own stuff. That's what the not-dwarves are and whatever other natural enemies live there, and the green dragon brood that Erinethria raised there (probably also transformed), and despite what Ybarra said, probably some of Nightsquall's pirates. That's the entire problem with your elemental theory, is that it DOESN'T act as filler to break up monotony, because we're just getting out of two years of seeing elementals and element-themed stuff everywhere, it's just adding to the monotony. So just like Orcs vanished off the map for Legion, and were even largely kept out of the Horde stuff for BfA (putting aside Saurfang as a single individual), elements/elementals are going to likely go away for several expansions now that they've been a primary focus for an entire one.

The Hour of Twilight is a specific event. The Old Gods being freed to complete their mission of turning Azeroth into a void titan, which would then bring all of reality under the influence of the Void. It's not just a catch-all term for any Void attempt to take over. The Hour was subverted when Deathwing and then N'zoth, his influencer were killed, bringing an end to the Old Gods on Azeroth. Whatever she (if she is even the harbinger, and that is a massive if) and Iridikron are up to, it's not the Hour of Twilight.

It's not supposed to be deathly. It's staging location for the machine that builds afterlives, and a test bed for lifeforms to fill those afterlives. The First Ones aren't spirits or even aligned with Death, why would their personal realm that the Death pantheon are forbidden from even entering be death-themed?

I can't shake the impression that Zereth Mortis was designed before they decided to imply that there was a Zereth for each cosmic force.

ZM really looks like a labratory where the first ones were meant to have played around with the whole life and death concept - I mean heck, it's literally split into forest and desert, with life absolutely overflowing on one half and weird proto-lifeforms everywhere. It made no sense to have that in Death's special place if there was also a life one, whereas if ZM was one of a kind and the first ones were originally based out of Death... at least it would have fit better.

Anyway, off topic. Hopefully we won't soon find ourselves in Zereth Dwarfis.

If you could re-read what I actually posted, I said 'I wouldn't be surprised at this point if' it's not my head cannon, it's a small joke I have to cope with the shadowlands mess.

Unfortunately I'm well aware of how last expansion the lore team wrote in a set of progenitor cosmic beings, that created all of our own cosmic beings, and called them the first ones. To remind us all on top of all the 'this has been the plan all along since the early days of warcraft' that they had something earliest and bigger than what we previously had. And therefore we should be impressed.

It just does not really feel like they've got something that would resonate and engage the audiences as of current.
Its either going to be great like a world revamp/legion or they are dumb and hyping us just to disappoint us. But they never hype this much so im inclined to think its going to be good either way.

A large xpac with a traditional theme and something like player housing would also qualify. Those are the only two scenarios in which I can see the hype being justified.

I mean at this point they need to hype people up in order to sell out the con and make some money out of it.

But I agree the only two versions I can see that deserve hype is either world revamp or a proper expac with a really significant feature like housing (or imo, class skins; they'd also get the hype levels to overdrive).

Would they really be that short sighted though? The CON has never made them money. Its a pretty cheap way to market. Its a break even or slight loss but cheap way to market. If they are truly dumb enough to hype a lame duck expansion they way they have been, I will have lost all faith remaining in blizzard. It would be truly baffling.

I think the BfA reveal and that Blizzcon in general was very successful. I mean in short order we had gotten so many reveals one after another and that trailer was amazing.
