Expected based on timeline, the AOTC mount, and other signs, but still extremely disappointing for me. No 4th raid puts this expac ultimately around WoD and SL levels for good promise, fell short at the end.

Yeah it doesn't really feel like an end of expansion patch to me

Still probably a .5 on the way.

The augment is so close to the nail in the coffin, it is almost certainly going to be the final major tier of DF. I really hope the .5 and .75 patches have some serious lore and story for the red dragon flight. I'd hate to see yet another cover art character reduce to this level. Its getting to the point where I pray a favourite character won't end up in the forefront for this role I.E. Bolvar/Alexstraza.

Dragonflight deserved 3 major patches, but at least the next expansion shouldn't suffer for it

    I know this is controversial..

But I'm at the point where I'd prefer less 8+ boss raids. Give me 2-3 boss raids, but 3 raids per tier. Or 4 and 2.

More small raids feels like there is more raid content than one giant raid, even if that isn't the case from number of encounters standpoint.

Something to do with Wrathion and Vyranoth’s 10.2 story I’d wager.

We know they visit Odyn and the stormdrakes.

That would mean the last major patch is coming out less than a year from the expansion's initial release date: The only other expansion to do that was WoD. And I think some kind of natural disaster would have to happen for them to do that again.

Technically, its just as likely that it features the last new zone/faction of the expansion. Which normally, not all patches do. The only exception here is Shadowlands.

What are the stormdrakes up to anyway? Are they loyal to Odyn and the Titans?

Based. Although Odyn is flawed, I'd still rather hang out with him and his badass lightning dragons than these sissyflights.

If this is the last raid this becomes the expansion with the least amount of raid encounters ever, even beating WoD in that regard. The only thing I can think of is they want to somehow get back to summer releases like Legion and BfA, and to compete directly with FF14's next expansion. That would make me very sad having to pick between the two.

Wait until you're reminded that Odyn tends to take a "loyalty or else" mindset, a la the unending mess he caused with Helya.
confirmed by my uncle nitnendo and masahiro samurai

I actually like underground zones, especially when you can enter them through tunnels like Zaralek. Makes the world seem more 3D, like the ground isn't just a flat texture above an infinite void.
They could essentially add some of those "air locked" (thats how the devs referred to them) holes to Azeroth. If all of the new expansion zones are linked under Azeroth, they could drop a few different exit areas that go to different part on the surface of Azeroth. So imagine on the new expansion map the northern zone has a massive Nerubian Kingdom with an exit/entrance tunnel linking it to Dragonblight, then a massive Titan city/engine/world soul zone with the bottom of Sargeras's sword poking through the ceiling that has an exit near Silithus, could do deep dwarven ruins under Grim Batol and come out in EK, maybe a Kobold city, etc.

It could be a way to link a bunch of distant zones together. Imagine flying down through Azjol Nerub at 800% speed, rip across a few new zones and coming up in Silithus or something.

You're saying he's forcing the storm drakes to stay loyal to him? Wouldn't be out of character

I know they clarified in 2023, but honestly.. I kind of expected their roadmap to be it even when it was announced. two major patches. I don't think that's bad. Especially if it avoids a patch like the end of BFA, which was not my favorite at all.

I would actually raid more often if raids were solely 1-3 fight deals. I don't think they should have ever been treated as a huge dungeon fortresses. Makes them a pain in the ass to travel around in and also get tired of the aesthetic after 2-3 bosses.

I still don't know why they stopped the unique instanced 1-2 boss fights as they were my favorite to pug around in for a quick good time.

Not gonna lie, a dinar system being back would make getting certain trinkets a LOT more bearable.
    Paladin Bash has spoken.

Dinar should be from the start of an expansion and act like how the tier crafting is now except maybe a week or 2 longer than it is now and 1 every few weeks to make it not too OP
